NCT ID: NCT03223597 Completed - Bone Metastases Clinical Trials

Registry of Treatment Outcomes of Symptomatic Metastasized Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer Treated With Radium-223

ROTOR
Start date: January 17, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Radium-223 is the 5th treatment for metastasized castration resistant prostate cancer with a proven overall survival benefit. The improved survival of Radium-223 over placebo was demonstrated in the ALSYMPCA trial, which included a miscellaneous patient population both docetaxel pretreated and non-pretreated. This registry aims to describe non-study patients treated with Radium-223 and prospectively evaluate treatment outcomes of patients with and without docetaxel pretreatment. Analgesic use and patient reported pain scores, efficacy of the subsequent therapy and overall survival will be evaluated. Moreover, clinical and explorative serum and blood biomarkers of Radium-223 efficacy will be explored.

NCT ID: NCT03222388 Completed - Clinical trials for Erectile Dysfunction

Electronic IIEF Validation

Start date: July 25, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Questionnaires are used within urology to objectify disease burden and symptom changes during therapy. Recent technological improvements, as the smartphone and tablet, create new fill-out possibilities. However, questionnaires are only validated on paper. In order to use questionnaires for multiple platforms, electronic validation is needed. The International Prostate Symptom Score has already been validated on the smartphone. The International Index of Erectile Function (normal version of 15 questions and short version of 5 questions) is widely used within urology, however electronic validation is required for usage on electronic platforms in the future.

NCT ID: NCT03221985 Completed - Communication Clinical Trials

ESM Pilot: Mobile Phones and Psychology

Start date: September 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The research team will investigate whether there is a relation between smartphone usage and psychological parameters using the smartphone application.

NCT ID: NCT03221179 Completed - Healthy Volunteers Clinical Trials

Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of RO7049665 in Healthy Volunteers

Start date: July 10, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of single ascending doses of subcutaneous (SC) injections of RO7049665 in healthy volunteers. In addition, pharmacokinetics (PK) of RO7049665, the effects of single doses of RO7049665 on regulatory T-cells as well as the single dose immunogenicity of RO7049665 will be evaluated. This trial plans to evaluate approximately seven single dose-levels of RO7049665 or matching-placebo during dose-escalation in approximately 40 participants.

NCT ID: NCT03221075 Completed - Clinical trials for Invasive Aspergillosis

Clinical Implications of Azole-Resistant Aspergillosis in Hematological Malignancy

CLARITY
Start date: March 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

In order to determine the efficacy of antifungal therapy in patients with documented azole-resistant invasive Aspergillosis (IA), anonymized clinical information of patients with a hematological malignancy with a culture-positive invasive fungal infection caused by Aspergillus fumigatus are collected in an online registry. Respective fungal isolates are analysed for azole susceptibility and resistance mechanisms. Patients diagnosed with an IA in 2016 and later are included in the study.

NCT ID: NCT03220425 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 1

Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of Insulin Detemir Compared With That of NPH Insulin in Subjects With Type 1 Diabetes.

Start date: February 1, 2001
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of insulin detemir using the 2400 nmol/mL formulation to optimise dosing in subjects with type 1 diabetes on a basal (once daily)-bolus regimen.

NCT ID: NCT03220308 Completed - Clinical trials for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Mindfulness Training for Children With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Mindful Parenting

MindChamp
Start date: February 18, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an 8-week mindfulness group training for children (8-16 years old) with ADHD in combination with a parallel mindful parenting training for their parents. Half of the participants will be randomly assigned to the mindfulness training in addition to care-as-usual (CAU); the other half to CAU-only. The hypothesis is that compared to care-as-usual only, the addition of the mindfulness training will improve self-control of youth with ADHD.

NCT ID: NCT03219333 Completed - Clinical trials for Urinary Bladder Neoplasms

A Study of Enfortumab Vedotin for Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Urothelial Bladder Cancer

EV-201
Start date: October 8, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a study that will test how an experimental drug (enfortumab vedotin) affects patients with cancer of the urinary system (urothelial cancer). This type of cancer includes cancer of the bladder, renal pelvis, ureter or urethra that has spread to nearby tissues or to other areas of the body. This clinical trial will enroll patients who were previously treated with a kind of anticancer drug called an immune checkpoint inhibitor (CPI). Some CPIs have been approved for the treatment of urothelial cancer. This study will test if the cancer shrinks with treatment. This study will also look at the side effects of the drug. A side effect is a response to a drug that is not part of the treatment effect. Patients who sign up for this trial must also fall into one of these categories: - Patients have already received treatment with platinum-containing chemotherapy - Patients have never received platinum-containing treatment and are not eligible for treatment with cisplatin.

Start date: October 31, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evaluate if INS1007 can reduce pulmonary exacerbations over a 24-week treatment period in participants with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.
