There are about 5012 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Mexico. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of tedizolid phosphate (MK-1986) compared with comparator antibacterial agent in participants from birth to less than 12 years of age with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI).
Study AG120-C-009 is a global, Phase 3, multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AG-120 (ivosidenib) + azacitidine vs placebo + azacitidine in adult participants with previously untreated IDH1m AML who are considered appropriate candidates for non-intensive therapy. The primary endpoint is event-free survival (EFS). The key secondary efficacy endpoints are overall survival (OS), rate of complete remission (CR), rate of CR and complete remission with partial hematologic recovery (CRh), and overall response rate (ORR). Participants eligible for study treatment based on Screening assessments will be randomized 1:1 to receive oral AG-120 or matched placebo, both administered in combination with subcutaneous (SC) or intravenous (IV) azacitidine. An estimated 200 participants will take part in the study.
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of canagliflozin relative to placebo on glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) after 26 weeks of treatment, and to assess the overall safety and tolerability of canagliflozin.
Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in children has high prevalence and severe complications, and its first line of treatment (adenotonsillectomy) has risk of complications. Even though the use of presurgical CPAP seems logical due to its effects in adults, it must be studied in children due to the different physiopathology and adherence. One non-invasive way of study the effect is via acoustic pharyngometry, which can measure the anatomical site of obstruction. The post-surgical anatomical changes could correlate with a persistent OSAS, which would be helpful in selecting those patients who require a post surgical sleep study. The main goal of the study is to cuantify the changes in the oropharyngeal volume via acoustic pahryngometry after CPAP use, and also the changes after adentonsillectomy in children.
The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of identifying novel etiologic agents associated with SARI in patients who have required intubation and in whom, after analysis, a causative agent was not identified by standard microbiologic (culture) and multiplex real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) platforms. Taking into account that isolation of any pathogens is generally time sensitive, the study will evaluate subjects that are culture negative at the time of consent. Not all subjects will actually prove to be culture negative. Additionally, the study will compare etiologic agents identified on broncho-alveolar lavage (BAL) to etiologic agents identified by routine upper airway testing on all subjects with SARI.
To evaluate the effect of denosumab on lumbar spine bone mineral density (BMD) Z-score as assessed by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) at 12 months in children 5 to 17 year of age with Glucocorticoid (GC)-induced osteoporosis (GiOP).
This is a randomized, open-label, multi-center, global, Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of durvalumab + tremelimumab combination therapy + Standard of care (SoC) chemotherapy or durvalumab monotherapy + SoC chemotherapy versus SoC chemotherapy alone as first line treatment in patients with metastatic non small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with tumors that lack activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusions.
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of levosulpiride to improve retinal alterations due to diabetic macular edema and diabetic retinopathy
This is a post-marketing study of patients who started nivolumab as first- or second-line therapy for metastatic melanoma or as second-line therapy for metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (SqNSCLC) , metastatic non-SqNSCLC, metastatic renal cell carcimona (RCC), or recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck cancer (SCCHN), or third-line therapy for classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) in Mexico.
The purpose of this Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an oral treatment regimen of CC-220 versus placebo in adult subjects with active systemic lupus erythematosus. Approximately 280 subjects with a documented diagnosis of SLE will be randomized 2:2:1:2 to receive CC-220 (0.45 mg QD, 0.3 mg QD or 0.15 mg QD) or identically appearing placebo.
