There are about 5012 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Mexico. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Methods: Single-center pilot study included PCR+ SARS-CoV2-patients, hospitalized from April to May 2020 in Puebla, Mexico. Comparative treatment with steroids plus CsA or steroids. Mild, moderate or severe pneumonia was measured by clinical, laboratory tests, lung damage score by computed tomography, and score for clinical improvement. Death rate was evaluated at 28 days.
The purpose of this study is in Part 1, to determine the safety of nivolumab, bempegaldesleukin (BEMPEG: NKTR-214), and Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) combination.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of inebilizumab for the prevention of flare of Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD).
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of additional estradiol estrogen therapy on clinical response and mortality in non-severe COVID-19 patients
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy, as demonstrated by progression-free survival (PFS), in participants treated with amivantamab in combination with chemotherapy, versus chemotherapy alone in participants with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) characterized by EGFR Exon 20ins mutations.
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of the study drug tirzepatide to insulin lispro (U100) three times a day in participants with type 2 diabetes that are already on insulin glargine (U100), with or without metformin.
The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of two educational interventions to enhance breastfeeding knowledge among senior medical students. One intervention consisted of a traditional face-to-face teaching lecture and the other consisted of the use of a smartphone application containing information about breastfeeding.
In a blinded randomized clinical trial, which will include health workers (doctors, residents, nurses, stretcher-bearers, technicians, hygiene and cleaning) who are members of the health teams that care for patients with COVID-19. Two groups will be formed: the Vitamin D group taking 4,000 IU orally daily for 30 days, the control group being given a placebo during the same time period. Participants will be adults, who have not had COVID-19 disease, and who sign the informed consent. At the beginning of the study anthropometric variables (weight, height, BMI) will be taken, the short medical history can be identified to identify comorbidities, and a fasting blood sample will be taken to determine changes in Vitamin D (25 (OH) Vitamin D), in addition to RT-PCR saliva samples, as well as detection of serum antibodies to determine whether or not they have SARS-CoV-2 disease. Participants will follow each other 45 days. Those with COVID-19 disease will be monitored frequently to determine the course of the disease. At the end of 45 days, new samples will be taken to determine levels of vitamin D and antibodies against SARS-Cov-2.
There are several clinical studies that mention the benefits of treatment with low-dose radiation therapy to patients with COVID 19, so this study protocol will be started to determine if there is clinical improvement with treatment and low-dose radiation therapy. to all the lung.
An open-label, controlled, multi-site, interventional, 2-arm, Phase II trial of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab vs pembrolizumab monotherapy as first line treatment in patients with unresectable recurrent or metastatic HPV16+ HNSCC expressing programmed cell death ligand -1 (PD-L1) with combined positive score (CPS) ≥1. This trial has two parts. Part A, an initial non-randomized Safety Run-In Phase to confirm the safety and tolerability at the selected dose range level of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab. Part B, the Randomized part of the trial to generate pivotal efficacy and safety data of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab monotherapy in the first line setting in patients with unresectable recurrent or metastatic HPV16+ HNSCC expressing PD-L1 with CPS ≥1. For Part B, an optional pre-screening phase is available for all patients where patients' tumor samples may be submitted for central HPV16 DNA and central PD-L1 expression testing prior to screening into the main trial.
