There are about 93 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Monaco. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study is designed to etablish the effects of spironolactone in comparison to placebo on the composite endpoint of nonfatal Myocardial Infarction (MI) and acute coronary syndrome, hospitalization for heart failure, nonfatal stroke or cardiovascular-induced death. The primary endpoint will be the time to onset of the first incident.
This is a multicentre, prospective, observational post-market registry (follow-up 1 month, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years and 5 years) to monitor the post-market clinical safety and effectiveness of the Vascutek AnacondaTM Custom Fenestrated Stent Graft in patients with a short infrarenal neck of <15mm or juxta-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms who, in the opinion of the treating physician, are anatomically suitable for the AnacondaTM Custom Fenestrated Stent Graft and for whom a customised medical device is required.
Bevacizumab has been found to prolong progression free survival in first line, and more recently, in second line treatment for platinum sensitive ovarian cancer patients who had not received prior treatment with bevacizumab. Recently reported data suggest that patients with colon cancer who receive bevacizumab in more than one line of therapy (beyond progression) have better results. In ovarian cancer, the role of bevacizumab administered in both first and second-line therapies needs to be defined. This study aims to evaluate whether administering bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy in second-line therapy to patients with recurrent ovarian cancer who have received first-line bevacizumab will be more effective than chemotherapy alone.
The goal of the present study is to assess, through a randomized phase II trial, the efficacy and safety of Lenalidomide with or without Epoetin beta in transfusion-dependent, ESA-resistant, IPSS low and intermediate-1 risk MDS patients without chromosome 5 abnormality. Patients will receive either Lenalidomide alone or Lenalidomide and Epoetin beta for 4 months. Responders will be eligible for maintenance treatment with cycles identical to the first cycles, until relapse occurs or until unacceptable toxicity.
The primary purpose of this registry is to obtain "real world" clinical use of contact force measurements during ablation procedures.
This multicenter, prospective, observational study will assess the efficacy of MabThera/Rituxan (rituximab) and alternative TNF-inhibitors in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who are non-responders or intolerant to a single previous TNF-inhibitor. Data will be collected from each patient from the time of change in biologic therapy for 12 months.
The purpose of this study is to assess whether a single injection hyaluronic acid (HA) product is not inferior to a 3 injection HA product at 24 weeks (6 months), in terms of effectiveness in reducing pain when walking in patients suffering from symptomatic tibiofemoral osteoarthritis of the knee.
This study is intended to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Certolizumab Pegol (CZP) in combination with Methotrexate (MTX) for sustaining clinical response achieved in study RA0055 Period 1 [NCT01519791]. Subjects entering this study RA0055 Period 2 achieved sustained Low Disease Activity at Week 52 in study RA0055 Period 1.
This study is intended to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Certolizumab Pegol (CZP) in combination with Methotrexate (MTX) for inducing and sustaining clinical response in the treatment of Disease Modifying Antirheumatic Drug (DMARD)-naïve adults with early active Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The MAPT PLUS study is a two-year extension of follow-up of the patients included in the MAPT preventive study, after completion of the interventions. Subjects in the four groups of the MAPT study will be prospectively followed. MAPT is a multicentre, randomised, placebo-controlled study, using a 4-group design with 3 treatment groups (omega 3 alone, multi-domain intervention alone, omega 3 plus multi-domain intervention, n=420 each) and a placebo group (n=420). The MAPT PLUS study will be an extension of the MAPT study and includes an annual follow-up for two years.
