DCIS
Start date: March 2000
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

By this non-randomized prospective study, it's evaluated the outcome of patients underwent BCS for DCIS at whom an established score system to address adjuvant therapies have been prospectively applied, according to the wideness of free margins. Between March 2000 and April 2006, 224 patients were enrolled and followed within the study.

NCT ID: NCT03001882 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

An Exploratory Study of the Effects of Nivolumab Combined With Ipilimumab in Patients With Treatment-Naive Stage IV or Recurrent Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

CheckMate 592
Start date: March 29, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore the possible links between participant characteristics and their cancer, with how effective the combination of nivolumab with ipilimumab is, in participants with Stage IV or recurrent Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).

NCT ID: NCT03000439 Completed - Clinical trials for Arthritis Juvenile Idiopathic

A Safety, Efficacy And Pharmacokinetics Study Of Tofacitinib In Pediatric Patients With sJIA

Start date: May 10, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A randomized withdrawal study in which responders to open-label treatment with tofacitinib will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to tofacitinib or placebo in a double-blind phase. In the double-blind phase "time to sJIA flare" will be evaluated as primary endpoint and subjects will be discontinued once they experience sJIA flare. An interim analysis for efficacy and futility will be conducted when at least 20 flares have been observed. If either criterion is met, the study will be stopped. If neither criterion is met, the study will continue until the requisite number of flares are observed as determined by the number of flares included in the interim analysis and a statistical penalty for conducting the interim analysis.

NCT ID: NCT03000348 Completed - Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Trials

A Study of the Dosing, Efficacy, and Safety of Oral Cysteamine in Adult Patients With Cystic Fibrosis Exacerbations

CARE-CF1
Start date: December 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study investigates the use of cysteamine in the treatment of adults with Cystic Fibrosis who are experiencing an exacerbation of CF-associated lung disease. There are six different potential dosing regimens, including one that is placebo.

NCT ID: NCT02999672 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Determine Best Tumor Response With Trastuzumab Emtansine in Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) Overexpressing Solid Tumors

KAMELEON
Start date: December 23, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This multicenter, non-randomized, Phase II study will assess the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of trastuzumab emtansine in participants with HER2 overexpressing locally advanced (unresectable and not treatable with curative intent) or metastatic urothelial bladder cancer (UBC), locally advanced (unresectable and not treatable with curative intent) or metastatic pancreatic cancer/cholangiocarcinoma with advanced disease where cure is no longer possible and where no other treatment options are available anymore. Participants will receive intravenous (IV) infusion of trastuzumab emtansine as Regimen A (2.4 milligrams per kilogram [mg/kg], weekly [qw]) or Regimen B (3.6 mg/kg, every 3 weeks [q3w]) until unacceptable toxicity, withdrawal of consent, disease progression (PD), or death, whichever occurs first. Based on tolerability and safety aspects, steering committee and Independent Data Monitoring Committee (iDMC) will decide on expansion of the study to include more participants with other carcinoma types.

NCT ID: NCT02999282 Completed - Clinical trials for Frontotemporal Dementia

Rehabilitative Trial for the Rescue of Neurophysiological Parameters in Progranulin Deficient Subjects

ReRescuePGR
Start date: October 31, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled study, the investigators will evaluate the effects of frontal and prefrontal anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on neurophysiological parameters of cortical connectivity, assessed by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), in asymptomatic subjects bearing a pathogenic GRN mutation and in symptomatic patients with frontotemporal dementia.

NCT ID: NCT02999178 Completed - Clinical trials for Lung Diseases, Interstitial

Efficacy and Safety of Nintedanib in Patients With Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Disease (PF-ILD)

INBUILD®
Start date: January 17, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the current study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of nintedanib over 52 weeks in patients with Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Disease (PF-ILD) defined as patients who present with features of diffuse fibrosing lung disease of >10% extent on high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) and whose lung function and respiratory symptoms or chest imaging have worsened despite treatment with unapproved medications used in clinical practice to treat ILD. There is currently no efficacious treatment available for PF-ILD. Based on its efficacy and safety in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), it is anticipated that Nintedanib will be a new treatment option for patients with PF-ILD.
