LISA Rigid Catheter vs LISA Soft Catheter in a Very Preterm Manikin

Less invasive surfactant administration (LISA) can be provided using rigid or soft catheters, but possible differences in terms of easiness of use and success of the procedure are unknown. A difficult procedure may have some drawbacks such as the prolonged duration of the laryngoscopy needed to insert the device, which is likely to aggravate the invasiveness of the procedure and result in stressful consequences such as bradycardia, hypoxia, and hemodynamic changes. Objectives: i) time of device positioning, ii) success of the procedure of positioning the device, iii) participant's satisfaction.

Evaluation of Nutritional Status, Eating Habits and Improvement of Symptoms With a Nutritional Intervention in Women With enDometriosis

The study aims to investigate the nutritional status and eating habits of women suffering from endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain in relation to describe the possible improvement of clinical symptoms following a nutritional intervention. The primary aim is to describe and evaluate the impact of nutritional intervention on clinical symptoms (pain, quality of life and intestinal function) in women suffering from endometriosis with chronic pelvic pain. The first secondary aim will be to describe and evaluate the impact of the nutritional intervention by describing the changes in some specific areas of the patients (sexual, psychological) together with the quantification of some routine blood chemistry parameters (inflammatory markers, levels of proteins and vitamins) . The second secondary objective will be aimed at describing the changes in clinical symptoms and the parameters mentioned above in patients based on the severity/stage of the pathologies under study.

Phase III Xevinapant (Debio 1143) and Radiotherapy in Resected LA SCCHN, High Risk, Cisplatin-ineligible Participants (XRAY VISION)

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the superior efficacy of Xevinapant (Debio 1143) versus placebo when added to radiotherapy in the treatment of high-risk participants with resected locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (LA SCCHN) who are ineligible to receive cisplatin-based chemoradiation concurrently. Study details include: Study duration: Participants will be followed until the last on-study participant reaches his/her 60-month post-randomization visit, a decision to end the study has been triggered, or until premature discontinuation from study, whichever occurs first. Treatment duration: 18 weeks, consisting of six 3-week cycles. Health measurement/observation: Improved Disease-Free Survival. Visit frequency: Weekly visit during combination therapy period, once every 3 weeks during monotherapy period, and every 3, 4, or 6 months during the Disease-Free Survival Follow-up period in Year 1, 2 and 3, or 4 and 5 (with telephone contact in between), respectively, and every 3 months (telephone visits allowed) during the Overall Survival Follow-up period.

This is a multi-site, global, open-label study that includes a phase 1b evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in women and men with with or without brain metastases from ER-positive, HER-2 negative breast cancer. Phase 1b is designed to select the recommended phase 2 dose and will be followed by a phase 2 evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in patients with active brain metastases from ER-positive, HER-2 negative breast cancer.

Phase 1/2, dose escalation and expansion study designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of NVL-655, determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D), and evaluate the antitumor activity in patients with advanced ALK- positive (ALK+) NSCLC and other solid tumors. Phase 1 will evaluate the overall safety and tolerability of NVL-655 and will determine the RP2D and, if applicable, the MTD of NVL-655 in patients with advanced ALK+ solid tumors. Phase 2 will determine the objective response rate (ORR) as assessed by Blinded Independent Central Review (BICR) of NVL-655 at the RP2D. Secondary objectives will include the duration of response (DOR), time to response (TTR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and clinical benefit rate (CBR) of NVL-655 in patients with advanced ALK-positive NSCLC and other solid tumors.
