There are about 21062 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Italy. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brolucizumab in treatment of patients with macular edema (ME) secondary to central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).
An Open-Label, Randomised, Active Controlled, Multi-Centre Phase 3 Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Danaparoid vs Argatroban in Treatment of Subjects with Acute HIT (HITSOVA study)
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brolucizumab in treatment of patients with macular edema (ME) secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO).
Despite important clinical improvements, esophageal cancer surgery is still associated to a high rate of postoperative complications. Recent ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) Society guidelines underline the possible role of prehabilitations' programs in reducing postoperative morbidity. In this trial, 200 patients, scheduled for esophageal cancer resection, will be randomly assigned to two groups (100 patients for each group). In both groups, patients will perform a basal evaluation with a physiotherapist, a nutritionist and a psychologist. In the treatment group, each patient will receive a tailored prehabilitative program and, during the 4 weeks before surgery, will be monitored constantly by each single specialist. A preoperative revaluation (the day before surgery) and follow up visits at 3 and 6 months will be performed for all patients. The incidence of postoperative complications, the length of hospital stay, and the reach of discharge criteria will be registered.
The primary objective of this post-market study is to demonstrate that Oswestry disability index (ODI) score improved significantly at 12 months post-operatively as compared to baseline for each indication (degenerative spinal disease and deformity) in subjects with compromised bone quality, who will receive a surgical procedure requiring posterior stabilization and/or immobilization of one or more spinal segments using CD HORIZON® Fenestrated Screw Spinal System with Fenestrated Screw Cement.
This is a registry study in children with achondroplasia, age 0-10 years, to be conducted at multiple clinical centers in several countries. Information collected will include in anthropometric characteristics, related symptoms, tests, & treatments Children's information will be collected in the registry for a maximum of 5 years.
This Phase 2b/3 double-blind, placebo-controlled study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effects of livoletide on food-related behaviors in patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
This open-label study is to assess the safety of continued treatment with relamorelin for participants who previously completed the RLM-MD-03 [NCT03420781] or RLM-MD-04 [NCT03383146] study and to provide treatment for these participants until relamorelin becomes commercially available or the Sponsor terminates development.
This is a multi-center, observational genomic screening protocol to identify participants whose tumors harbor somatic mutations in the ERBB2 (HER2) gene, as measured in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) . Participants with histologically confirmed, hormone receptor positive, HER-2 negative, metastatic breast cancer (MBC) or metastatic cervical cancer (MCC) are eligible for screening at 6 months intervals, or if disease progression is suspected/confirmed. Blood samples will be collected from eligible participants and ctDNA will be extracted and sequenced at a central laboratory, using a HER2-targeted next generation sequencing (NGS) test. A certified molecular test report will be issued from the central laboratory and provided to the investigators and the study sponsor. Participants who are identified with HER2 mutations by this screening protocol will subsequently have access to an appropriate neratinib treatment protocol, pending medical eligibility.
This is a phase 3, multicenter, open-label, randomized active-controlled, parallel group to investigate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of intravenous balixafortide given with eribulin versus eribulin alone in the treatment of HER2 negative, Locally Recurrent or Metastatic Breast Cancer.
