NCT ID: NCT03715205 Active, not recruiting - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate the Safety of Pembrolizumab in Participants With Unresectable or Metastatic Melanoma or Non-small Cell Lung Cancer in India (MK-3475-593/KEYNOTE-593)

Start date: January 31, 2019
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study has been designed to evaluate the safety of pembrolizumab in participants in India with unresectable or metastatic melanoma and participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are either untreated (programmed cell death ligand 1 [PD-L1] ≥50%) or have experienced disease progression after a platinum-containing systemic therapy (PD-L1 ≥1%).

NCT ID: NCT03709680 Active, not recruiting - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

Study Of Palbociclib Combined With Chemotherapy In Pediatric Patients With Recurrent/Refractory Solid Tumors

Start date: May 24, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A study to learn about safety and find out maximum tolerable dose of palbociclib given in combination with chemotherapy (temozolomide with irinotecan or topotecan with cyclophosphamide) in children, adolescents and young adults with recurrent or refractory solid tumors (phase 1). Neuroblastoma tumor specific cohort to further evaluate antitumor activity of palbociclib in combination with topotecan and cyclophosphamide in children, adolescents, and young adults with recurrent or refractory neuroblastoma. Phase 2 to learn about the efficacy of palbociclib in combination with irinotecan and temozolomide when compared with irinotecan and temozolomide alone in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with recurrent or refractory Ewing sarcoma (EWS).

NCT ID: NCT03706690 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

A Study of Durvalumab as Consolidation Therapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients

PACIFIC-5
Start date: November 27, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase III, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre study assessing the efficacy and safety of durvalumab compared with placebo, as consolidation therapy in patients with locally advanced, unresectable, non-small cell lung cancer (Stage III), who have not progressed following definitive, platinum-based, chemoradiation therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03705208 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Mental Health Wellness 1

Youth First: A Longitudinal Impact Evaluation

Start date: May 8, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial will assess the effect of school-based emotional resilience and health curriculum, called Youth First, on middle school students who receive the curriculum in 7th and 8th grades. Key psychosocial wellbeing, mental health, educational wellbeing and substance use measures, will be assessed longitudinally over a three year period using a cluster randomized control design.

NCT ID: NCT03703297 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of Durvalumab + Tremelimumab, Durvalumab, and Placebo in Limited Stage Small-Cell Lung Cancer in Patients Who Have Not Progressed Following Concurrent Chemoradiation Therapy

ADRIATIC
Start date: September 27, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase III, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Multi-center, International Study of Durvalumab or Durvalumab and Tremelimumab as Consolidation Treatment for Patients with LS-SCLC Who Have Not Progressed Following Concurrent Chemoradiation Therapy

NCT ID: NCT03682068 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Urothelial Cancer

Study of Durvalumab Given With Chemotherapy, Durvalumab in Combination With Tremelimumab Given With Chemotherapy, or Chemotherapy in Patients With Unresectable Urothelial Cancer

NILE
Start date: September 27, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, open-label, controlled, multi-center, global Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of combining durvalumab ± tremelimumab with standard of care (SoC) chemotherapy (cisplatin + gemcitabine or carboplatin + gemcitabine doublet) followed by durvalumab monotherapy versus SoC alone as first-line chemotherapy in patients with histologically or cytologically documented, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic transitional cell carcinoma of the urothelium (including renal pelvis, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra).

NCT ID: NCT03675815 Active, not recruiting - HIV Infections Clinical Trials

Body Composition Sub-study of the D2EFT Trial

Start date: December 5, 2019
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a non-randomised, controlled, parallel group, sub-study of D2EFT (NCT03017872), a randomised, open-label study in approximately 1,000 HIV-infected adults failing first-line antiretroviral therapy (ART) in low-middle income countries. The sub-study will be offered to all D2EFT sites with access to DXA technology for whole-body composition analysis. Sites will offer the sub-study to consecutive clinic patients. Patients must be approached for participation and provide informed written consent prior to randomisation into D2EFT. This study will recruit approximately 300 patients. Allocation to one of three ART treatment regimens will follow the result of D2EFT randomisation. The study will investigate the role of contemporary ART on body composition and metabolic parameters by comparing over 96 weeks the effects of the D2EFT ART regimens. The primary endpoint will be assessed at week 48.

NCT ID: NCT03669432 Active, not recruiting - Radiation Toxicity Clinical Trials

To Study the Impact of Radiation Treatment After Surgery in Patient With Locally Advanced Thyroid Cancer.

THYRO-RT
Start date: July 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial deals with cancers of the thyroid gland which are advanced at the local site of thyroid. These cancers are treated with surgery and complete removal of the thyroid gland. But due to advanced nature, there is risk of re-occurrence. Radiotherapy can be used to prevent this re-occurrence. This study attempt to see the effect of radiotherapy in preventing re-occurrence and its side effects in advanced thyroid cancer.
