A survey of 800 stroke patients and their caregiver during the 1st year following acute stroke hospitalization will explore their unmet needs.

Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia elongates hospital stay and may require treatment. The investigators noticed that bilirubin levels were higher among infants of primipara mothers than among multipara mothers. As this data is dichotomic and easy to produce, and may influence the maintenance, the investigators decided to find out if primiparity is a risk factor for neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. The investigators intend to collect data from patient files during one year, and compare the bilirubin levels and length of stay between newborns to primipara mothers and multipara mothers.

The Effect of Cannabis on Dementia Related Agitation and Aggression

The most common syndrome in patients with severe dementia is agitated behavior, which is often characterized by a combination of violent behavior (physical or verbal), restlessness, and inappropriate loudness. The treatment options for this syndrome are limited and lead to severe side effects. In vivo experiments on animals and clinical studies on adults show that cannabinoids could have a beneficial effect on behavioral disorders in general, and in dementia-related disorders in particular. Additionally, medical cannabis patients have reported that cannabis aids in pain relief, increased appetite, and a sense of calm and peace of mind. Elderly patients suffering from dementia that experience this syndrome could also benefit from other quality of life aspects of the cannabis treatment such as reduction in medication consumption, weight gain and improvement of sleep.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Compared to Pharmaceutical Therapies for Fibromyalgia Syndrome

The investigators have previously studied the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as a treatment for Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) in a prospective, active control, crossover clinical trial. The results demonstrated significant amelioration of all FMS symptoms, with significant improvement in life quality; furthermore, the investigators were able to demonstrate significant neuroplasticity on SPECT imaging, with a decrease of the hyperactivity in posterior regions and elevation of the reduced activity in frontal areas. In the proposed study, the investigators intend to both repeat and expand our previous findings, treating FMS patients with HBOT while performing an extensive of evaluation both before and after treatment. In the current study, the investigators plan to compare HBOT to current standard of care of FMS (pharmacological and non - pharmacological).
