This study is investigating how Mim8 works compared to other medicines in people with haemophilia A, who either have inhibitors or do not have inhibitors. Mim8 is a new medicine that will be used for prevention of bleeding episodes. Mim8 works by replacing the function of the missing clotting factor VIII (FVIII). When and how often participants will receive Mim8 is dependent on their previous treatment - but is otherwise decided by chance. Mim8 will be injected into a skinfold on the stomach with a thin needle either once a week or once a month. The study will last 54-124 weeks (12-29 months) depending on how long participants will be followed in run-in before they start treatment and if they continue in the follow period or transfer to an open label extension study. Participants will have 12-17 clinic visits.
The main objective of this study is to compare efficacy of bemarituzumab combined with oxaliplatin, leucovorin, and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) (mFOLFOX6) to placebo plus mFOLFOX6 as assessed by overall survival (OS) in participants with FGFR2b ≥10% 2+/3+ tumor cell staining (FGFR2b ≥10% 2+/3+TC)

Migraine headaches in children and adolescents may cause severe attacks that require abortive treatment. This study evaluated the incidence and efficacy of medications used for relieving migraine headache attacks in the pediatric population in Israel. Children 6-18 years of age who were diagnosed in our pediatric neurology clinic as having migraine headaches were enrolled into the study. Children and their parents filled in questionnaires about their response to abortive treatment two hours after use, during three acute headache attacks. The questionnaire included demographic data, baseline headache intensity, migraine-associated symptoms, medications used, and pain assessment.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a multifaceted disorder resulting from intense and/or life-threatening trauma. PTSD sequelae often have a ripple effect on close others, including spouses and children. Studies report high levels of relationship distress for both those with PTSD and their partners as well as emotional distress. Despite the extensive knowledge on the effects of PTSD on couple relations and vice versa, and the limitations of individual therapies in addressing these issues, there has been a major lag in the development and study of couples' interventions in the context of PTSD. the current study will examine the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy (CBCT) for PTSD. It will employ an RCT to examine both outcomes and processes of change via multiple methods of assessment, including self-report questionnaires, qualitative interviews and physiological co-regulation measures. Moreover, it will employ a modified procedure via video conference due to COVID-19 in addition to in-person treatment option. The study will therefore contribute to theoretical understandings of the effects of PTSD on couples, to the development of therapies specifically intended for such couples.

This study involves patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC and asymptomatic brain metastases. This is an open-label, randomized study, comparing the continuation of Osimertinib treatment alone to Osimertinib treatment combined with early intervention stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). The current first line of care for EGFR-mutated NSCLC is administration of Osimertinib, a small molecule that penetrates the blood brain barrier (BBB) well and controls majority, but not all, of the brain metastases. We hypothesize that relatively early intervention with SRS to brain metastases that are still visualized by MRI 2 months-post initiation of Osimertinib treatment, LUNG- will improve long term brain control, cognitive abilities and potentially overall survival. Patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC and asymptomatic brain metastases will be treated with Osimertinib for 2 months. Brain MRI scans will be collected pre-Osimertinib and 2 months after treatment start. Patients with asymptomatic brain metastases present after 2 months of Osimertinib will be randomized into one of two study arms. Arm A patients will be treated with SRS while continuing Osimertinib, while arm B patients will continue with Osimertinib alone. Patients will be assessed based on brain and whole body progression by RECIST. Patients will also be assessed for CNS-PFS and body-PFS, cognitive function, Quality of life and overall survival status via routine follow-up tests.
This clinical trial is a Phase 2/3 study that will determine the recommended dose of mitapivat and evaluate the efficacy and safety of mitapivat in sickle cell disease by testing how well mitapivat works compared to placebo to increase the amount of hemoglobin in the blood and to reduce or prevent the occurrence of sickle cell pain crises. In addition, the long-term effect of mitapivat on efficacy and safety will be explored in an open-label extension portion.
