Rotator cuff tears are common amongst 50-60 year olds with no connection to their physical activity. When symptomatic, the injury affects all aspects of general health, quality of life and function. Surgical intervention is recommended only if conservative treatment fails. The purpose of the surgical intervention is to reduce pain, and improve function while improving range of motion and muscle strength around the shoulder. The purpose of the current study is to measure physical, functional, expectation, satisfaction and quality of life outcomes after rotator cuff repair surgery. Another purpose is to learn the reproducibility components of the above outcomes.
The Purpose of this study is to assess the effect of MCI on driving ability by using on road driving test. The relationship between their driving outcome and their cognitive decline will be examined.

Low intensity shock waves (LISW) have been proven in animal studies to induce local growth of new blood vessels. The investigators hypothesized that LISW therapy could improve the symptoms of patients with erectile dysfunction resulting from a problem of blood supply who respond to oral therapy (PDE-5 inhibitors). The current study will check the Efficacy and Safety of a Second Series of LISW Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction Patients Who Were Partial Responders to the Initial Treatment.
This is a prospective, randomized, control, open label study in which up to 50 subjects with metatarsus adductus (MTA) will be enrolled. Subjects will be treated with the standard casting or using the UNFO-s device for total time of 20 weeks.
The objectives of the study are: 1. To evaluate the effect of OT compared to placebo, as add-on to anti-psychotics, on social functioning in schizophrenia. 2. To evaluate the effect of socially oriented CBT administered to patients immediately after they receive OT, compared to patients who receive OT with not-socially oriented CBT, and compared to patients who receive socially oriented CBT without OT. The investigators hypothesize that OT and socially oriented CBT will have a synergistic effect, and will be better than OT or CBT alone. 3. Use a detailed, in depth analysis of social interaction to assess these putative effects of OT. The investigators hypothesize that the use of this analysis will show larger treatment effects of OT than previously shown in less sensitive assessments, such as PANSS. 4. To assess the effect of epigenetic status on response to OT. The investigators hypothesize that epigenetic variants associated with lower OT plasma levels will be associated with greater response to OT treatment. 5. To assess in the relationships between levels of salivary OT and vasopressin, and social interactions in schizophrenia. 6. To assess in the relationships between levels of salivary OT and vasopressin, and response to OT treatment.
Graft versus host disease (GVHD) is one of the major causes of death in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. 18F-FDG PET/CT (2-[fluorine-18] fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose, Positron emission tomography- CT) is a noninvasive technique that allows quantifying and precisely localizing 18F-FDG uptake in the entire body. 18F-FDG uptake is caused by increased local metabolic activity. In this study, we aim to evaluate and characterize the correlation between CT-PET findings in patients suspected to have acute GVHD, and the disease course.
The use of infantry helmets under heavy heat stress conditions, during physical exertion, may hinder the body's ability to effectively dissipate heat from the head area, thereby damaging the soldier's function. Therefore head cooling may potentially enable a longer duration of activity until reaching fatigue. An improvement in function may also be possible.The purpose of this research is to determine the extent of the cognitive and physiological strain caused by wearing a helmet under exertional conditions while exposed to heavy heat stress and to evaluate the effect of a unique ventilation system connected to the helmet on strain reduction.
Soft Tissue Sarcoma (STS) is a rare tumor but can grow in different areas, for example, in 60% in limbs and about 20 % in retroperitoneum; and frequently is inoperable. Despite novel therapy in advanced cases survival is still short, approximately 12 month. Pazopanib oral angiogenesis inhibitor was recently shown as promising drug for advanced pretreated STS. Functional imaging especially F18-FDG PET/CT is a good modality for FDG avid tumor either for pre- / post- treatment evaluation or follow up. Early detection of treatment response to therapy by whole body FDG PET/CT allows for change of treatment as early as possible,when the tumor is non-responsive before serious side effects appear or before depletion of body resources. The aim of the study is to investigate the contribution of FDG PET/CT to assessment of treatment response.
PET/CT is reliable tool in evaluation of treatment response in number cancers. F18-FLT is a precursor of DNA with high uptake in the bone marrow as a part of normal biodistribution. Highly increased uptake of this radiopharmaceutical was shown in a number of hematologic disease either in bone marrow or extramedullary. F18-FLT PET/CT can provide a tool for whole body assessment of activity in bone marrow as well as early estimation of treatment efficacy or lack of it. In addition, this noninvasive study can replace bone marrow biopsy and predict response vs. non response to therapy.
