There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Uncontrolled diabetes is associated with increased risk for micro-vascular complication. Hypoglycemia is one of the major barriers in achieving good glucose control. Hypoglycemia is associated with a range of unpleasant symptoms including palpitations, tremor, hunger, sweating, confusion, difficulties in thinking as well as other idiosyncratic symptoms. Fear of hypoglycemia (FOH) refers to phobic avoidance reactions associated with hypoglycemia FOH may increase behavioral attempts to avoid hypoglycemia including decreased consumption of insulin and/or increased consumption of carbohydrates, resulting in poor glycemic control and an increased risk of diabetic complication. In this study, the investigators present a novel system, which simultaneously employs BioFeedback and Virtual Reality in order to cope with fear of hypoglycemia.
Photoplethismography will be measured and compared in newborns suffering from patent ductus arteriosus and normal controls.
This is a prospective observational study evaluating all patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Data will be gathered regarding the events prior to ventilation and the indication for mechanical ventilation. In-hospital and post-admission outcome will be monitored.
The primary objectives of the study are: - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of MT-1303 in subjects with moderate to severe active Crohn's Disease(CD) - To evaluate the clinical efficacy of MT-1303 in subjects with moderate to severe active CD.
The objectives of this study are to assess safety and to evaluate the biologic activity of TARGTEPO treatment in Peritoneal Dialysis patients
A randomized, placebo controlled, single center clinical trial for evaluation of efficacy and safety of Sildenafil administration in the cardiac ICU following Mitral Valve (MV) Surgery in patients with pre-operative Significant Pulmonary Hypertension.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of omadacycline as compared to linezolid in the treatment of adults with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of 6 g/day aceneuramic acid extended-release (Ace-ER) treatment of participants with GNEM on upper extremity muscle strength (upper extremity composite [UEC] score) as measured by dynamometry.
Recently, a novel assay for detecting heavy/light chain (HLC) ratios has been reported which enables improvement in paraprotein detection and monitoring in multiple myeloma and other plasma-cell dyscrasias. The prognostic and biological role of the HLC assay has as yet not been studied in CLL. Aims of the proposed study: 1. To quantify and analyze the prognostic significance of HLC ratios in the serum of CLL patients. (In addition to FLC) 2. To study the different patterns of Immunoglobulin's subclass antibodies in the serum of patients with CLL and compare them to those of to healthy volunteers. 3. To perform a sub-analysis in patients with CLL who have autoimmune phenomenon (AIHA and ITP)
The investigators aim to assess the effect of blepharoplasty with or without muller muscle resection on the symptoms of dry eye syndrome. this will be an observational study in which patients undergoing the aforementioned surgeries will be followed up and monitored for dry eye symptoms.
