There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study evaluates the use of brain activity monitoring for prediction of migraine attacks in an expected time scale of 12-48 hours prior to the migraine attack.
This is a retrospective, open label study to establish and validate a prediction technology for advanced melanoma patients under the 1st, 2nd and later treatment lines, with the immunotherapeutic drugs Ipilimumab, Pembrolizumab & Nivolumab, in order to predict response rate and disease progression
This is a retrospective observational, open label study to evaluate and prospectively validate in a blind manner the accuracy of predicting treatment outcomes by PrediCare in individual patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, Small Cell Lung Cancer, Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer, Breast Cancer & Colon Cancer under the treatment with the mono- and combination drug protocols for the 1st and 2nd line treatment, approved to the market as a Standard of Care
Neck of femur fractures are common in the elderly and are the source of significant morbidity and mortality. This study is based on a new technique developed in Ben Gurion University, with which investigators are able to asses the structural 3 dimensional strength of a bone by applying a unique simulation on a CAT scan of the bone. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk of a contralateral neck of femur fracture after the first neck of femur fracture and to estimate the potential fracture characteristics.
The purpose of this study is to determine effectiveness of an Anti-lice treatment using the medical device "No More" which is designed to kill lice and lice eggs on the head.
The study evaluates pre-operative prediction of the risk for lymph nodes involvement in endometrial cancer patients. Patients will undergo ultrasound exam (bi and three dimensional) and biomarker test - Ca 125, in addition to routine physical and laboratory exams, before surgery. The sonographic evaluation will include endometrial characteristics and myometrial invasion, pelvic findings and enlarged lymph nodes.
Since normal pregnancies are associated with dilutional anemia, due to a greater increase in plasma volume with a smaller increase in RBC mass, it is important to properly diagnose IDA according to the levels of serum ferritin. Previous studies examining the optimal iron dose have shown that adjustment of iron supplementation according to serum ferritin levels in early pregnancy could be beneficial. Nonetheless, there is no consensus regarding the appropriate dose of iron during pregnancy, its dose-response curve and its effect on serum ferritin levels. In this trial the investigators sought to assess the efficacy of doubling the daily iron supplement dose in pregnant women with IDA.
Prospective, 2-arm, clinical study for the evaluation of the VelaShape device and Contour I V3 device for non-invasive fat reduction vs. control. All study subjects, who are scheduled for abdominoplasty, will undergo one treatment with VelaShape or Contour I V3 device. Each arm will be treated with a different device: Arm 1: subject will treated with VelaShape device Arm 2: subject will treated with Contour I V3 device
The investigators will performed a large-scale multi center trial to compare the efficacy of a high-dose dual therapy (HDDT) with that of standard therapies in treatment-naive (n = 300) patients with Hp infection. Consecutive symptomatic patients will be recruited in Israel and Spain when tested positive to Hp with serology and 13C urea breath test (13C-UBT) due to symptoms. Patients with gastric cancer, MALT lymphoma, and younger than 18 or older than 80 years old will be excluded. All patients will be naive to eradication therapy and will be randomized into one of three groups: Group 1: Nexium 40 mg and amoxicillin 1.5 gr twice daily for 14 days Group 2: Nexium 40 mg and doxycycline 200 mg twice a day Group 3: Triple therapy of Nexium 20 mg, clarythromycin 500 mg, and amoxicillin 1gr twice a day for 10 days (regular accepted treatment). All treatments will be stopped for a month and then 13CUBT will be repeated. The primary aim of the study is to assess eradication success, intentioned to treat and per protocol in the three treatment regimens. The secondary aim of the study is to assess the safety of high dose amoxicillin and doxycycline.
The purpose of this study is to compare the adenoma detection rate (ADR) of the G-EYE™ colonoscopy with that of standard colonoscopy.
