NCT ID: NCT05007106 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

MK-7684A With or Without Other Anticancer Therapies in Participants With Selected Solid Tumors (MK-7684A-005) (KEYVIBE-005)

Start date: September 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of pembrolizumab/vibostolimab co-formulation (MK-7684A) with or without other anticancer therapies in participants with selected advanced solid tumors. The primary hypothesis is that pembrolizumab/vibostolimab co-formulation is superior to pembrolizumab alone in terms of objective response rate or progression-free survival in participants with cervical cancer.

Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase I open-label, multi-center study of GS-9716 tested either as monotherapy or in combination with other anti-cancer agents in patients with advanced solid malignancies. Primary objectives are to define the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum administered dose of GS-9716, and characterize the safety and tolerability of GS-9716 as monotherapy and in combination with anti-cancer therapies.

NCT ID: NCT05006547 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Healthy Participants

Peroneal Muscles Response to Expected and Unexpected Falls Among Young and Middle-aged Adults Before and After Neuromuscular Training

Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Proper functioning of the ankle musculature, specifically peroneal muscles, is crucial for maintaining balance and reducing the risk for falls. Evidence suggests that a decrease in aspects of neuromuscular control already starts at midlife (45-65 years). However, there is almost no information regarding the function of the ankle muscles at the middle-age as most experiments have compared young (<35 years) and older subjects (>65 years). Moreover, neuromuscular training can improve the function of ankle muscle in response to perturbation; yet, no previous study has compared the level of effectiveness between middle-aged and young adults.

NCT ID: NCT05006157 Recruiting - Pericardial Access Clinical Trials

Pericardial Access With ViaOne Device

Start date: July 10, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

ViaOne device is a tool designed to allow percutaneous subxiphoid pericardial access utilizing a proprietary mechanism of entry into the pericardial sac. In this study ViaOne will be used to obtain pericardial access in patients in whom electrophysiological diagnostic (mapping) and/or therapeutic (ablation) of epicardial sites via percutaneous subxiphoid approach to the to the normal, non-distended pericardial space is indicated.

NCT ID: NCT05005442 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hematological Malignancies

A Study of Pembrolizumab/Vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in Relapsed/Refractory Hematological Malignancies (MK-7684A-004, KEYVIBE-004)

Start date: September 28, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and tolerability of pembrolizumab/vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in hematological malignancies. This study will also evaluate the overall response rate (ORR), the duration of response (DOR), and disease control rate (DCR) following administration of pembrolizumab/vibostolimab. In addition, this study will characterize pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of vibostolimab (MK-7684).

NCT ID: NCT05005403 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study to Assess Adverse Events and Pharmacokinetics in Adult Participants With Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) and Other Solid Tumors, Receiving Intravenous (IV) Infusion of ABBV-514 Alone or in Combination With Budigalimab

Start date: November 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is a solid tumor, a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the lung. Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) is a solid tumor, a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the head and neck. The purpose of this study is to assess adverse events and pharmacokinetics of ABBV-514 as a monotherapy and in combination with Budigalimab. Budigalimab and ABBV-514 are investigational drugs being developed for the treatment of NSCLC, HNSCC, and other solid tumors. Study doctors put the participants in groups called treatment arms. The maximum-tolerated dose (MTD)/maximum administered dose (MAD) of ABBV-514 will be explored. Each treatment arm receives a different dose of ABBV-514 in monotherapy and in combination with Budigalimab. Approximately 268 adult participants will be enrolled in the study across approximately 80 sites worldwide. Participants will receive ABBV-514 as a monotherapy or in combination with Budigalimab as an Intravenous (IV) Infusion for an estimated treatment period of up to 2 years. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.

NCT ID: NCT05001594 Completed - Clinical trials for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries

Wearable Vibration Effect on Biomechanics and Biomarkers After ACL Reconstruction

Start date: January 30, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries account for up to 25% of knee injuries, it is estimated that 32,000-400,000 new cases of ACL tears occur in the USA every year. The Standard care is twofold; a) ACL reconstruction surgery and b) prolonged rehabilitation period (usually no less than 9 months). However, a large amount of patients do not return to their pre-injury activity level, and up to 30% reinjure their ACL in the following two years. The wearable system consists of two non-invasive bands, above and below the knee that vibrate during the weight bearing phase while walking.
