There are about 5241 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Hungary. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study was to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of IONIS-GHR-LRx in up to 60 participants with acromegaly.
The primary hypothesis in this trial is that the treatment with vericiguat 10 mg or 15 mg in patients with HFpEF improves the KCCQ PLS (Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire Physical limitation score) compared to placebo after 24 weeks of treatment.
The goal of this clinical trial is to show the blood pressure lowering effect of aprocitentan, a new drug, when added to other anti-hypertensive drugs of patients with difficult to control (resistant) high blood pressure (hypertension), and to show that blood pressure reduction is kept for long period of time.
The reason for this study is to see how effective and safe mirikizumab is compared to secukinumab and placebo for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
This study will look at how a known study medicine N8-GP works in previously N8-GP treated people with haemophilia A. The aim is to look at how N8-GP works during regular use. Participants will get N8-GP. N8-GP has been tested in more than 200 people with haemophilia A for several years. Participants will get an injection of N8-GP into a blood vessel, one, two or three times weekly. Participants will get more doses if they bleed or if they will need a surgery. The study will last for about 2 years. Participants will have at least 9 visits with the study doctor. If participants agree to be in this study, they will get their first injection (in this study) at the first visit. Participants will also get an injection at visit 3, 5 and 7. Participants will be trained to give all other injections themselves. Participants must not use any clotting factors other than N8-GP or any anticoagulants (blood thinners) during the study.
This is an investigational study of experimental Medication BMS-986231 given to participants with weakened or damaged liver function.
Background The authors' aim was to compare the influence of various electrode designs on selected objective and subjective clinical outcomes for cochlear implant recipients using the same model of receiver-stimulator, Cochlear™ Nucleus® Profile Series and sound processor. Methods A multicenter study with subjects with profound sensorineural hearing loss, who were implanted and followed up in two tertiary centers. A total of 54 ears were implanted with Cochlear™ Nucleus® CI532, 51 with Cochlear™ Nucleus® CI522 and 54 with the Cochlear™ Nucleus® CI512. Implant loss and intraoperative electrophysiological tests (electrically evoked stapedial reflex threshold [ESRT], neural response telemetry threshold [T-NRT] and impedance), postoperative data (C-level, T-level, dynamic range, T-NRT and power consumption) and intracochlear position of the active electrode were analyzed with Nucleus Custom Sound 4.4 software.
Primary Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of alirocumab administered every 2 weeks (Q2W) and every 4 weeks (Q4W) versus placebo after 24 weeks of double-blind (DB) treatment on low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in participants with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (heFH) 8 to 17 years of age on optimal stable daily dose of statin therapy ± other lipid modifying therapies (LMTs) or a stable dose of non-statin LMTs in case of intolerance to statins. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the efficacy of alirocumab versus placebo on LDL-C levels. - To evaluate the effects of alirocumab versus placebo on other lipid parameters. - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of alirocumab in comparison with placebo. - To evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of alirocumab after open label treatment. - To evaluate the development of anti-alirocumab antibodies.
The purpose of this study is to assess secukinumab high dose (every 2 weeks) vs standard dose (every 4 weeks) in heavy body weight subjects with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
Approximately 2000 patients eligible for elective treatment with a Carotid Stent according to hospital routine practice in centers across Europe will be enrolled in the study. The maximum number of patients enrolled at each site will be not limited. Follow-ups are scheduled at discharge, 30 days, and 1 year, as per local practice. Each patient will have follow-up contacts via hospital visit and/or telephone.
