NCT ID: NCT05590260 Recruiting - Postpartum Anemia Clinical Trials

Prevention of Iron Deficiency Anemia Post-delivery

PRIORITY
Start date: May 30, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

PRIORITY is designed as a 2-arm, randomized-controlled trial focused on postpartum women. The trial will recruit women who are diagnosed with moderate anemia based on a blood sample taken 6-48 hours after childbirth. A total of 4,800 eligible women, or 600 women per research site, will be consented and enrolled in the trial. The study hypothesizes that at 6 weeks post-delivery, prevalence of the non-anemic state in women in that received a single-dose IV iron infusion between 6 and 48 hours after delivery and prior to discharge from the facility will be greater than that of women given a supply of oral iron tablets taken twice daily for 6 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05568095 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Adenocarcinoma

A Clinical Trial of a New Combination Treatment, Domvanalimab and Zimberelimab, Plus Chemotherapy, for People With an Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Cancer That Cannot be Removed With Surgery That Has Spread to Other Parts of the Body

STAR-221
Start date: November 21, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This randomized Phase 3 open-label study will compare the efficacy of the T-cell immunoglobulin and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) domain (TIGIT) monoclonal antibody domvanalimab, the anti programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody zimberelimab, and multiagent chemotherapy versus the anti PD-1 monoclonal antibody nivolumab and multiagent chemotherapy in the first-line treatment of participants with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic gastric, gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), and esophageal adenocarcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05566431 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Severe Traumatic Brain Injury

Benchmark Evidence Led by Latin America: Trial of Intracranial Pressure - Pediatrics

BELA TRIPP
Start date: March 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Narrative: Worldwide, traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of death and disability among children and adolescents. The Investigators aim to test whether pediatric TBI treatment guided by invasive intracranial pressure monitoring produces better patient outcomes than care guided by a protocol without invasive monitoring. Study findings will inform clinical practice in treating pediatric severe TBI globally. Focused didactic and experience-based learning opportunities will increase the research capacity of pediatric intensivists in Latin America.

NCT ID: NCT05562466 Recruiting - Asthma Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of QMF149 (Indacaterol Acetate/Mometasone Furoate) Versus Budesonide in Children From 6 to Less Than 12 Years of Age With Asthma

Start date: May 11, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the superiority in terms of efficacy and evaluate the safety of QMF149 (indacaterol (acetate) / mometasone (furoate)) compared to budesonide in children from 6 to less than 12 years of age with asthma. - The study duration will be up to 37 weeks including an investigational treatment duration of 12 weeks and a comparator treatment duration of 12 weeks. - The visit frequency will be 3 weeks for screening, run-in and wash-out period, 6 weeks interval for visits during each treatment period, 30 days for safety follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT05350072 Recruiting - Sjogren Syndrome Clinical Trials

Two-arm Study to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Ianalumab (VAY736) in Patients With Active Sjogren's Syndrome

NEPTUNUS-1
Start date: July 28, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, 2-arm multicenter phase 3 study to assess the efficacy and safety of ianalumab in patients with active Sjogren's syndrome (NEPTUNUS-1)

NCT ID: NCT05298423 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

Study of Pembrolizumab/Vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in Combination With Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy Followed by Pembrolizumab/Vibostolimab Versus Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy Followed by Durvalumab in Participants With Stage III Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-7684A-006/KEYVIBE-006)

Start date: May 3, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab/vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT) followed by pembrolizumab/vibostolimab versus cCRT followed by durvalumab in participants with unresectable, locally advanced, stage III Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The primary hypotheses are that pembrolizumab/vibostolimab with cCRT followed by pembrolizumab/vibostolimab is superior to cCRT followed by durvalumab with respect to the following: - progression free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 by blinded independent central review (BICR) in participants with programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) tumor proportion score (TPS) ≥1% and PD-L1 all comer participants. - overall survival (OS) in participants with PD-L1 TPS ≥1% and PD-L1 all comer participants.

NCT ID: NCT05295641 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

American Registry of Ambulatory or Acute Decompensated Heart Failure

AMERICCAASS
Start date: April 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of this study is to better characterize and understand the population of patients with ambulatory or acutely decompensated heart failure in the American continent, getting to know their sociodemographic, clinical and paraclinical characteristics

NCT ID: NCT05222529 Recruiting - Asthma Clinical Trials

Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Safety and Tolerability of Glycopyrronium (Bromide) in Children (6 to Less Than 12 Years) With Asthma
