NCT ID: NCT03652064 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

A Study Comparing Daratumumab, VELCADE (Bortezomib), Lenalidomide, and Dexamethasone (D-VRd) With VELCADE, Lenalidomide, and Dexamethasone (VRd) in Participants With Untreated Multiple Myeloma and for Whom Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant is Not Planned as Initial Therapy

Start date: November 6, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study to determine if the addition of daratumumab to bortezomib + lenalidomide + dexamethasone (VRd) will improve overall minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity rate compared with VRd alone.

NCT ID: NCT03651765 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Obesity Associated With Defects in Leptin-melanocortin Pathway

Long Term Extension Trial of Setmelanotide

Start date: July 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a long-term extension trial to study the safety and tolerability of continued setmelanotide treatment in patients who have completed a previous clinical trial on treatment with setmelanotide for obesity associated with genetic defects upstream of the MC4 receptor in the leptin-melanocortin pathway.

NCT ID: NCT03651128 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety Study of bb2121 Versus Standard Regimens in Subjects With Relapsed and Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM)

KarMMa-3
Start date: April 16, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, randomized, open-label, Phase 3 study comparing the efficacy and safety of bb2121 versus standard regimens in subjects with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). The study is anticipated to randomize approximately 381 subjects with RRMM. Approximately 254 subjects will be randomized to Treatment Arm A and approximately 127 subjects will be randomized to Treatment Arm B.

NCT ID: NCT03648489 Active, not recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Dual mTorc Inhibition in advanCed/Recurrent Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube or Primary Peritoneal Cancer (of Clear Cell, Endometrioid and High Grade Serous Type, and Carcinosarcoma)

DICE
Start date: September 21, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

DICE is a randomised study recruiting 126 women over 3 years from hospitals in the UK and Germany. Eligible patients will have tissue based diagnosis of advanced/recurrent ovarian cancer (clear cell, endometrioid or high grade serous or carcinosarcoma), have had chemotherapy before, and be platinum-resistant (the cancer has returned/grown significantly during or within 6 months of platinum-containing chemotherapy).

NCT ID: NCT03639051 Active, not recruiting - COPD Clinical Trials

Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of TLD in Patients With COPD

AIRFLOW-3
Start date: May 23, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to confirm the safety and efficacy of the Nuvaira Lung Denervation System (Nuvaira System) in the treatment of COPD.

NCT ID: NCT03636438 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Ornithine Transcarbamylase (OTC) Deficiency

Long Term Follow Up to Evaluate DTX301 in Adults With Late-Onset OTC Deficiency

CAPtivate
Start date: August 30, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Determine the long-term safety of DTX301 following a single intravenous (IV) dose in adults with late-onset ornithine transcarbamylase (OTC) deficiency.

NCT ID: NCT03634475 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-infectious Uveitis

A Safety Study of Intravitreal PP-001 in Patients With Chronic, Non-Infectious Uveitis

Start date: January 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this study, PP-001 is assessed for safety and efficacy in patients diagnosed with non-infectious chronic uveitis. PP-001 is a novel small molecule that inhibits a specific enzyme (Dihydroorotate Dehydrogenase) and has shown pre-clinical efficacy in treatment of non-infectious uveitis. PP-001 will be administered to participants as a single intravitreal injection in ascending doses.

NCT ID: NCT03631693 Active, not recruiting - Periodontitis Clinical Trials

Imaging Analysis Following Periodontal Surgery

Start date: February 21, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single centre, randomised, single-blind, parallel-group clinical trial that aims at evaluating the use of imaging (2D and 3D) in obtaining geometric and thermometric changes of postoperative healing patterns and comorbidities (facial swelling, oedema and inflammation) following two routine surgical procedures performed for the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease.

NCT ID: NCT03631199 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab Plus Platinum-based Doublet Chemotherapy With or Without Canakinumab in Previously Untreated Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-squamous and Squamous NSCLC Subjects

CANOPY-1
Start date: December 21, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase III study of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with or without canakinumab in previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous and squamous NSCLC subjects. The study will assess primarily the safety and tolerability (safety run-in part) of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with canakinumab and then the efficacy (double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled part) of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with or without canakinumab.

NCT ID: NCT03631069 Active, not recruiting - Dementia Clinical Trials

Detecting Dementia in the Retina Using Optical Coherence Tomography

Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This retrospective case control explores the retinal features of dementia associated with neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease. By linking a pseudonymised dataset of three-dimensional retinal scans, called optical coherence tomography, with nationally held data on dementia, corresponding characteristics will be evaluated through descriptive statistics and machine learning techniques.
