There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of the combination of GDC-0919 and atezolizumab in participants with locally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic incurable solid malignancy that has progressed after available standard therapy or for which standard therapy is ineffective, intolerable, or inappropriate. Participants will be enrolled in two stages, including a dose-escalation stage and an expansion stage.
This is a phase 1/2 single arm, open-label, safety, tolerability, and PK study of cabiralizumab in PVNS/dt-TGCT patients.
This was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo- and active-controlled (etanercept in single blinded arm) study in pediatric subjects aged 6 years to less than 18 years with severe chronic plaque psoriasis. Approximately 160 subjects aged 6 years to <18 years were enrolled, of which at least 30 were 6 years to <12 years old. Subjects were enrolled at approximately 70 study sites worldwide.
The management of functional psychogenic movement disorders (FNPMD) is challenging for neurologists and psychiatrists and only comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment programme can be worthwhile for these patients (Moene et al 2002). Recent functional magnetic resonance imaging studies have demonstrated abnormalities in motor control at cortical level, hyperactivity of limbic system and disturbance of connectivity between these two systems leading to a lack of self-agency, (Voon et al 2010,2011).Two recent studies suggested a possible therapeutic effect of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in FNPMD (Dakotakis 2011, Garcin, 2013). In this protocol our objectives are twofold : 1. to compare the effect of 5 consecutive daily sessions of rTMS on FNPMD in a double-blind randomized controlled study 2. to study the effect of 3 weekly hypnosis sessions combined with rTMS in FNPMD
The purpose of this study is to translate and culturally adapt the MGQOL-15 (health-related quality of life scale for myasthenia gravis) for use with French-speaking patients in France and to evaluate its psychometric properties to ensure reliability and validity.
Diagnostic imaging for vascular investigations and endovascular procedures frequently require the use of contrast medium. Besides contrast medium-induced hypersensitivity, an acute kidney injury can appear: the contrast-induced nephropathy (NPCI). NPCI is associated with an increase of patients' morbidity and mortality. One of the conventional methods proposed to limit this NPCI is an oral administration of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) associated with hydration performed 12 hours before and 12 hours after the injection. However, in some patients this method cannot be performed due to a high risk of heart failure although they are generally at high risk of NPCI. Recently, it has been shown, in a randomized trial, that remote ischemic preconditioning (several cycles of upper-arm ischemia-reperfusion with a pressure cuff inflator) associated with hydratation and NAC reduced the occurrence of NPCI after a coronary angiography as compared with NAC and hydration only. . We hypothesized that the use of RIPC in patients at high risk of NPCI and who cannot receive NAC and hydratation (e.g. patients with aortic stenosis and eligible for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI)) could be promising.
Difficult airway management is a crucial point that may influence outcomes of patient in this critical situation. Education for this topic is of main importance for resident of anesthesiology. Procedural simulation workshop allows participant to use device dedicated to difficult airway management. Investigators included this workshop to a state education program of anesthesiology resident in second year and compared to their homonym in another state where no specific organized workshop is integrated to the education program.
Resident in advanced medical training participated to high fidelity simulation education program in Lyon. Alternatively 1 or 2 resident act during a scenario while the others observe in a teletransmission closeby room. Debriefing follows the critical scenario in witch resident are involved. The investigators are testing the effects of five minute of conversational relaxation before the debriefing on the anxiety level and memorization of key points each scénario on participant and observer.
Open multicentric study assessing predictive value of 18-FDG PET (SUV max) at 20 Gy during radio-chemotherapy, on the loco-regional control after 2 years
The purpose of this study is to determine whether AB103 is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with necrotizing soft tissue infections (NSTI) receiving standard of care therapy.
