Interest of the Use of the Web Platform LICORNE (LIaison and COoRdination With a NumériquE Health Reseau) Concerning Coordination of Care for Dependant Elderly Patients

LICORNE
Start date: January 28, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This project is associating partners from the public area (university hospital of Nice, Nice university) and the private area (Agfa Health Care, Radhuis, Domicalis) to create a unique medico-psycho-social shared record. The purpose of this project is to significantly improve coordination of care, especially between hospital and home. We can expect a significant improvement in the patient's living conditions, improving its management, its security and ultimately, lower health care costs.

NCT ID: NCT02809352 Completed - HPV Infection Clinical Trials

Epidemiology of High-risk HPV Infection in Women Participating in a Pilot Screening Program for Cervical Cancer

Epi-START
Start date: July 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Cervical cancer is due to a persistent infection with a group of viruses known as high-risk Human Papillomaviruses (hrHPV). Viral DNA can be easily detected in a cervical sample by a procedure called 'HPV testing', which can be used as a relevant screening test. A pilot screening program called START-HPV has been set up in the Ardennes, a French administrative area localized in the North of France, with HPV testing as a primary screening test. This observational study aimed to evaluate hrHPV genotypes repartition in the population who participate in the START-HPV screening program. This study will allow a better knowledge of hrHPV infection epidemiology in a screened population.

NCT ID: NCT02809222 Completed - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Plasmatic L-AScorbic Acid in MYelodyplastic Syndroms and Controls

PLASMYC
Start date: October 25, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) is a group of heterogeneous diseases characterised by the clonal evolution of dysplastic hematopoietic stem cells. This evolution is associated with accumulation of cytogenetic mutations which leads to acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Evolution of MDS is also associated with increase of reactive oxygen species (ROS). The increase of ROS is associated with accumulation of cytogenetic mutations. Ascorbic acid (AA) is an actor of the regulation of the oxidative metabolism in the human body. Studies showed that supplementation with AA can change the proliferation status of MDS cells. Adjuvant treatment with AA is associated with a beneficial effect on the evolution of MDS and AML. The present study aim at describing the variations of plasmatic ascorbic acid concentrations between healthy volunteers and patients with myelodysplastic syndromes advanced in their treatment or recently diagnosed during a follow-up of 12 months.

NCT ID: NCT02809053 Completed - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Follicular

A Randomized, Double-blind, Multi-center, Multi-national Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Immunogenicity of SAIT101 Versus Rituximab as a First-line Immunotherapy Treatment in Patients With Low Tumor Burden Follicular Lymphoma

RAMO-2
Start date: January 18, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Randomized, Double-blind, Multi-center, Multi-national Trial to Evaluate the statistical equivalence of efficacy, safety and immunogenicity of SAIT101 Versus Rituximab as a First-line Immunotherapy Treatment in asymptomatic patients with Low Tumor Burden Follicular Lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT02808975 Completed - Clinical trials for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)

Safety and Efficacy of Adalimumab (Humira) for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) Peri-Surgically

SHARPS
Start date: July 18, 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of adalimumab prior to surgery in participants with moderate to severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) who were surgical candidates.

NCT ID: NCT02808819 Completed - Asthma Clinical Trials

A Safety Extension Study With Benralizumab for Asthmatic Adults on Inhaled Corticosteroid Plus Long-acting β2 Agonist

MELTEMI
Start date: June 30, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to continue to characterize the safety profile of benralizumab administration and monitor the pharmacodynamic activity of the drug in those asthma patients who remain on treatment for at least 16 weeks and not more than 40 weeks in the predecessor study D3250C00021 (BORA, NCT02258542).

NCT ID: NCT02808663 Completed - Clinical trials for Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis

Assessment of the Predictive Value of Fecal Calprotectin for the Outcome of Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis

CALPRO-HAA
Start date: May 6, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Severe alcoholic hepatitis, defined by a "Maddrey discriminant function" above 32, is associated with significant short-term mortality. In patients with liver disease, studies have shown alterations of intestinal bacterial flora and an increase in intestinal permeability leading to bacterial translocation across the intestinal barrier. The mechanism involved may be an activation of intestinal macrophages with a local release of cytokines like interleukin-8 (IL-8). Calprotectin is a protein present in large amounts in the cytosol of neutrophils. Its presence in feces is related to neutrophil migration in intestinal lumen. Thus, fecal calprotectin may be used as a marker of intestinal inflammation. There is evidence that fecal calprotectin levels are increased in cirrhotic patients dependent on the severity of the disease. The predictive value of fecal calprotectin for the outcome of severe alcoholic hepatitis has never been evaluated. The main objective of this study was to determine if the initial level of fecal calprotectin and its variation after 7 days had a predictive value for the outcome of severe alcoholic hepatitis. Secondary objectives were to determine if fecal calprotectin concentration was correlated with blood concentration of Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) binding protein and predictive of infections.
