There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of AROAPOC3-3001 is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ARO-APOC3 plozasiran) in adult participants with familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS). Participants who have met all eligibility criteria will be randomized to receive 4 doses of plozasiran or matching placebo administered subcutaneously. Participants who complete the randomized period will continue in a 2-year open-label extension period where all participants will receive plozasiran.
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of mRNA 1647 vaccine in CMV-seronegative female participants and to evaluate the safety and reactogenicity of mRNA-1647 vaccine in all participants. The purpose of the Phase 3 extension sub study is to extend the observation period of the main study and to evaluate the longer-term immune persistence of mRNA-1647 vaccine administered to CMV-seronegative females who complete mRNA-1647-P301 main study and to assess for CMV seroconversion in CMV-seronegative participants who did not seroconvert during mRNA-1647-P301 main study. No interventional vaccine will be administered in the extension study.
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of teclistamab daratumumab (Tec-Dara) with daratumumab subcutaneously (SC) in combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone (DPd) or daratumumab SC in combination with bortezomib and dexamethasone (DVd).
This is a longitudinal, observational, prospective, multicentre study conducted in France, among a representative sample of rheumatology doctors. The aim of this study is to describe in real life the therapeutic strategy when faced with a patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who requires initiation of treatment with biotherapy or targeted therapy. The evolution of the disease and the possible therapeutic adaptations will then be followed for 2 years.
Recently, the french societies for critical care (SFAR and SRLF) produced guidelines for anemia treatment in critically ill patients that recommend the use of erythropoietin (EPO) in these patients, but the european society (ESICM) recommended against the use of EPO in this patients, despite recent meta analysis showing a lower mortality in patients treated with EPO. Nevertheless, RCT on EPO in the ICU are quite all, new data are thus needed. Before conducting a large study on EPO in anemic patients in the ICU, we propose to cinduct a feasability RCT to evaluate the feasability of such a study.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of olezarsen as compared to placebo on the percent change in fasting triglycerides (TG) from baseline.
This retrospective monocentric study aims at comparing multimodality endoscopic biliary drainage versus percutaneous radiologic biliary drainage in case of perihilar malignant obstruction. Data from patients admitted in the Nancy University Hospital, France, between january 2016 and march 2022 with jaundice and perihilar obstruction will be retrospectively collected.
APERITIF is a prospective randomized open-label, blinded end-point (PROBE) trial, nested in the ongoing the "FRENCHIE" registry, a French multicenter prospective observational study granted by "ANR-RHU Grand Emprunt", in which all consecutive patients admitted within 48 hours after symptom onset in a cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) are included (NCT04050956). Among them, eligible Patients for "APERITIF" will be randomized into two groups: Dual Anti-Platelet Therapy (DAPT) alone or DAPT plus rivaroxaban 2.5mg twice daily for 4 weeks, prescribed as soon as possible after admission and completion of the initial percutaneous coronary intervention/angiography procedure.
As the investigators need data on long term outcome of Covid-19, especially respiratory sequelae, a national cohort is required. To better evaluate the potential respiratory sequelae after SARS-CoV-2 infection, it is fundamental to include patients with different management at the acute phase of the Covid-19: ambulatory management, hospitalization in non ICU and in ICU units. That is why the investigators will conduct a national cohort study with all components of french pneumology which will give the investigators the opportunity to include patients in general hospital, in university hospital and in private structure. As it is a "real life" study, the investigators will include all patients who will have a consultation with a pneumologist for an evaluation 5 to 7 months after a Covid-19 infection whatever their acute disease management. The investigators will collect all available data on Covid-19 acute phase, on patients characteristics and comorbidities, on persistent symptoms after Covid-19, on exams results during the outcome evaluation (CT-scan, 6 min walk test, spirometry and DLCO, blood gas, VO2 max if realized).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of guselkumab plus golimumab combination treatment in participants with active psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and inadequate response (IR) to prior anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (anti-TNF-alpha) therapies by assessing clinical response compared with guselkumab monotherapy.
