There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
By 2050, the expanding world population will consume two-thirds more animal protein than it consumes today. The increase in chronic diseases associated with the generalization of these consumption patterns tend to understand the place of meat in our diets. All these elements participate to the reduction of animal proteins in favor of vegetable proteins in our food. The elderly are particularly affected by malnutrition, the prevalence of protein-energy malnutrition increasing with age and promoting the onset of morbidities. Without care, it leads to the worsening of physiological phenomena linked to aging such as loss of muscle functionality (sarcopenia) or reduction in bone density (osteoporosis) and increases the risk of falls - the main cause of dependence. However, in France, protein consumption declines significantly with age, even though requirements appear to be greater for the elderly. It is therefore a major challenge for our societies to ensure that the aging of the population and the increase in life expectancy are not synonymous with a reduction in the physical and mental capacities of individuals. Thus, it is essential to ensure that the recommendations for reducing the intake of animal proteins in favor of vegetable proteins can be applied without risk to aging populations, in particular on the human body cardiovascular risk of these populations.
This study aim to prospectively evaluate the neuropsychiatric symptoms of patients infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus by a standardized neuropsychiatric examination : the global CASE scale (Clinical Assessment Scale in Autoimmune Encephalitis), and the prevalence of disturbances of consciousness, focal neurological deficit, cognitive impairment, headache, anosmia, sleep disturbances, impaired autonomic nervous system and peritraumatic stress.
Main objective: Show the superiority of tonotopy based fitting strategy compared to default fitting strategy on the perception speech in noise. Secondary objectives: Show the superiority of tonotopy based fitting strategy compared to default fitting strategy on the perception of musical elements (contour test). Show the non inferiority of tonotopy based fitting strategy compared to default fitting strategy on the perception of speech elements in quiet. Show the superiority of tonotopy based fitting strategy compared to default fitting strategy on the qualitative preference for the listening of musical pieces.
This study aims to evaluate the outcome of patients who had a negative oral challenge to Amoxicillin
This study will evaluate and describe the occurrence of Acute traumatic stress and persistence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) after resuscitated sudden cardiac death (SCD) in patient and relatives present during the event. The population will be composed of 40 patients: 20 with resuscitated SCD and 20 relatives. Two interviews will be performed by a psychologist within one week after resuscitated SCD and at month 3. Questionnaire Stanford Acute Stress Reaction Questionnaire (SASRQ), Life Events Checklist for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) (LEC-5) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) will be filled during these interviews.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict the histology of polyps per colonoscopy, offers a promising solution to reduce variation in colonoscopy performance. This new and innovative non-invasive technology will improve the quality of screening colonoscopies, and reduce the costs of colorectal cancer screening. The aim of the study is to performed a cross-sectional, multi-center study evaluating the diagnostic performance of the CAD EYE automatic characterization system for the histology of colonic polyps in colorectal cancer screening colonoscopy.
CLINATEZO cohort will evaluate overall survival, real world progression-free survival, best response and duration of treatment in patients with advanced, metastatic Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) who received atezolizumab combined with chemotherapy part of the French Early Access Program (ATU). Subsequent treatments (treatment delivered immediately after treatment with atezolizumab and chemotherapy) will be recorded. Those outcomes will be correlated to clinical, pathological, and radiological characteristics of patients.
The purpose of this retrospective study is to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of trastuzumab + chemotherapies with or without taxanes among HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma patients.
The incidence of venous thrombosis (venous thromboembolic disease: VTE) in women of childbearing age in France is in the order of 0.3 to 0.5 / 1000 women / year. It is a rare disease, but the majority of events occurring in women of childbearing age are associated with a particular hormonal context (mainly pregnancy and hormonal contraception). VTE is a multifactorial disease and the risk depends on the simultaneous presence of several triggers.
In patient with complete pathological response, surgery could be omitted without compromising progression-free or overall survival. A powerful prediction model is needed to guide management of this population. Radiomics features provide complementary information about tumor heterogenity. The aim of the investigators is to develop a model combining clinical and radiomic criteria able to predict complete pathological response.
