NCT ID: NCT04383886 Completed - Clinical trials for Emergency Department Staff's Level of Stress

Evaluation of Emergency Department (ED) Staff Stress Level During COVID-19 Pandemic

COVER-PRO
Start date: April 18, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Emergency Department (ED) are in front line for the reception of patients presenting COVID-19 symptoms and have to face a new situation given the expected number of patients. Staff participate in suspect patients triage, in the diagnosis and the management of Covid-19 patients, having to follow the instructions and recommendations that evolve in real time, depending on the stage, resources and means available. This situation requires that the staff immediately adaptation within this reorganization and redeployment of the activity. Then; they are subject to many stress and anxiety factors such as: - Increased activity: massive influx of patients, overload of work, lack of material and human resources - Modification of practices: training in procedures, measures isolation and prevention of contamination of other patients, replacement by professionals reassigned from other departments - Ethical dilemma: decisions to be made in an emergency, patient prioritization - Numerous, evolving information, from various sources and sometimes contradictory (national, governance, service, media) - Individual: fear of personal contamination and of those close to you, personal organization in a situation of confinement of the population, loss of usual social support - Anxiety and stress management of patients and relatives, their entourage and colleagues In this study, it is proposed to study the psychic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on emergency department staff.

NCT ID: NCT04383730 Completed - Clinical trials for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Inhaled Sedation in COVID-19-related Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ISCA): an International Research Data Study in the Recent Context of Widespread Disease Resulting From the 2019 (SARS-CoV2) Coronavirus Pandemics (COVID-19)

ISCA
Start date: June 26, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The authors hypothesized that inhaled sedation, either with isoflurane or sevoflurane, might be associated with improved clinical outcomes in patients with COVID-19-related ARDS, compared to intravenous sedation. The authors therefore designed the "Inhaled Sedation for COVID-19-related ARDS" (ISCA) non-interventional, observational, multicenter study of data collected from the patients' medical records in order to: 1. assess the efficacy of inhaled sedation in improving a composite outcome of mortality and time off the ventilator at 28 days in patients with COVID-19-related ARDS, in comparison to a control group receiving intravenous sedation (primary objective), 2. investigate the effects of inhaled sedation, compared to intravenous sedation, on lung function as assessed by gas exchange and physiologic measures in patients with COVID-19-related ARDS (secondary objective), 3. report sedation practice patterns in critically ill patients during the COVID-19 pandemics (secondary objective).

NCT ID: NCT04383678 Completed - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Outcome of COVID-19 Patients After Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Start date: March 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to investigate outcomes and predictors of outcome after extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) therapy for severe acute respiratory syndrome (ARDS) in COVID-19 patients.

NCT ID: NCT04382573 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congenital Heart Defects

Better Delineation of CDK13 Related Phenotype and Epigenetic Signature.

CDK13
Start date: November 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

CDK13 related disorder is mainly characterised by developmental delay (DD) and intellectual disability (ID), ranging from mild to severe, and malformation syndrome. The aims of this study are first to better delineate the clinical phenotype, as well as the neuropsychological profile, and the brain MRI characteristics; and, second, to study the epigenetic signatures in a cohort of individuals with CDK13 intragenic pathogenic variants. This work will conduct to a MD thesis of a clinical resident geneticist in France. Physician that will participate will fill an Excel sheet regarding the clinical and neuropsychological assessment. The investigators will be also happy to have either CD-ROM or a link to have access to the brain MRI data as well as a DNA sample with a minimum 0.5ug of peripheral blood genomic DNA. The investigators will gather the DNA in Montpellier genetic lab (Dr Mouna BARAT) and send the batch to the Dr Sadikovic' lab. Between 2019 and 2020, The investigators have already recruited data from individuals with CDK13 pathogenic variants from France and several European genetic centres.

NCT ID: NCT04381845 Recruiting - COVID Clinical Trials

Immunity and Infections in the Psychiatric Population

COVIDIMMUNOPSY
Start date: January 10, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this multicenter cohort study is to determine the degree of COVID19 infection immunization of a population of psychiatric patients. The secondary objective of this cohort follow-up is to: 1. Clinically characterize COVID patients who are positive for serological testing 2. Assess the socio-demographic, clinical and psychotropic determinants of a COVID diagnosis 3. Immunologically characterize COVID patients who are positive for serological testing 4. Exploring the links between susceptibility to COVID19 and erythrocytic blood groups

NCT ID: NCT04381728 Completed - Clinical trials for Intrauterine Adhesion

PREvention of Intrauterine Adhesion After Hysteroscopic Surgery With Novel deGradable Film

PREG1
Start date: November 18, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Intrauterine adhesions (IUA) are the major long-term complication of intrauterine procedures and are associated with pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, obstetrical complication and infertility. Womed Leaf is a medical device specifically designed for intrauterine use that prevents intra-uterine adhesions. It is a film that acts as a mechanical barrier to keep uterus walls separated during healing. It is then naturally discharged through the cervix and vagina in less than 30 days. The PREG1 clinical investigation is designed to evaluate Womed Leaf safety under clinical conditions, in women scheduled for a hysteroscopic myomectomy as well as its efficacy.

NCT ID: NCT04381715 Recruiting - Clinical trials for YY1 Related Disorder

Better Delineation of YY1 Related Phenotype and Epigenetic Signatures.

Start date: May 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

YY1 related disorder, also known as Gabriele-de-Vries syndrome, is mainly characterised by developmental delay (DD) and intellectual disability (ID), ranging from mild to severe, and neuroimaging abnormalities. The aims of this study are first to better delineate the clinical phenotype, as well as the neuropsychological profile, and the brain MRI characteristics; and, second, to study the epigenetic signatures in a cohort of individuals with YY1 intragenic pathogenic variants. Between 2019 and 2020, the investigators have already recruited data from individuals with YY1 pathogenic variants from several European and American genetic centres.

NCT ID: NCT04381637 Completed - Anesthesia Clinical Trials

Newborn Infant Parasympathetic Evaluation (NIPE) Index After Standardized Tetanic Stimulations Under General Anesthesia

NIPESTIM
Start date: January 28, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

NIPE monitor is the recently developed pediatric version of the ANI monitor, which is used in adults to monitor analgesia during general anesthesia. In adults, under general anesthesia, ANI decreases after a nociceptive stimulation. The amplitude of this decrease is related to the intensity of the stim. This study aims to investigate if NIPE index decreases in the same manner after stimulations in anesthetized children.

NCT ID: NCT04381546 Completed - Rehabilitation Clinical Trials

FES-induced Muscular Control of the Knee on Balance and Gait Retraining After a Stroke or a Cerebral Injury

GONIOSEF
Start date: April 26, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The main hypothesis of the present study is that a safer knee joint is likely to encourage post stroke patients at an early stage to rely on their hemiparetic leg and transfer their weight onto it while walking. The main purpose of the present work is to assess the feasibility of FES-induced muscular control of the hemiplegic knee joint in order to improve stance phase support symmetry recovery in individuals with post stroke hemiplegia. Functional electrical stimulation (FES) is delivered to the quadriceps and hamstrings of the paretic limb based on the real-time estimation of the knee angle and support phase.
