There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a phase 3, randomized, open-label study of opevesostat compared to alternative abiraterone acetate or enzalutamide in participants with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) with respect to overall survival (OS) and to radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) per Prostate Cancer Working Group (PCWG) Modified Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) in participants with mCRPC previously treated with next-generation hormonal agent (NHA) and taxane-based chemotherapy. It is hypothesized that opevesostat is superior with respect to OS and rPFS per PCWG Modified RECIST 1.1 as assessed by BICR in androgen receptor ligand binding domain (AR LBD) mutation-negative and -positive participants.
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of two different surgical techniques, the Coronally Advanced Flap (CAF) and the Tunnel Technique (TT) with Connective Tissue Grafts (CTG), in treating mandibular gingival recession. This study, focusing on healthy patients with RT1 and RT2 gingival recessions, aims to determine which surgical approach offers better root coverage for mandibular recession defects. Additionally, it seeks to understand the effects of these techniques on aspects such as keratinized tissue gain, vestibular depth, gingival thickness, and patient-reported outcomes. Participants in this trial will undergo one of the two surgical procedures and are expected to attend a total of six assessment visits. Researchers will compare the results from both groups, those treated with CAF and those with TT+CTG, to discern if one method is superior in achieving more effective root coverage, enhanced aesthetic appearance, and reduced discomfort associated with gingival recession.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tirbanibulin 10 milligrams per gram (mg/g) ointment when applied to a treatment field (TF) larger than 25 centimeter square (cm^2) and up to 100 cm^2 in adult participants with actinic keratosis (AK).
It will consist of a randomized clinical trial with a control group. The sample will be distributed as homogeneously as possible into two groups, which will be randomly divided into a control group, to which the usual general treatment will be applied, and an experimental group, which will be treated with the NESA XSignal device. During the procedure, the subjects will continue to receive the usual care routine.
The EMBOL-AF is a multicenter, international, observational study designed as a retrospective registry that will investigate the characteristics of systemic arterial embolic events after treatment of atrial fibrillation by catheter ablation. Due to the retrospective nature of the study, the registry is specially focused on cerebral embolism (stroke and TIA) because these are not only the most frequent and clinically relevant but also the most susceptible to underreporting. However, all embolism associated to AFAbl will be included. This study will gather all clinically relevant aspects and data of all cases of arterial embolism that have occurred over the last 5 years in the centers that will participate in the registry. Based on these reported cases, the incidence, management and outcomes of embolic events (particularly stroke and TIA) will be studied.
This randomized was designed as non-inferiority trial aiming to compare the number of MII oocytes with 2-shot of Corifollitropin alpha (CFA) sequential administration: 150μg at stimulation day (SD) 1 and 100μg at SD 5 and 1-shot of CFA administration 150μg at SD 1 following by rFSH 200IU daily from SD 8 in women undergoing elective fertility preservation in a progestin-primed ovarian stimulation (PPOS) protocol and GnRH-agonist (GnRH-a) triggering.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate long-term safety and tolerability of ianalumab in participants with systemic lupus erythematosus who have previously completed the treatment period in one of the two SIRIUS-SLE core studies (CVAY736F12301 or CVAY736F12302).
The overall aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Mi Bridge to motivate high risk participants to admit to treatment. The main research question is: Is Mi Bridge, an anonymous online program based on the principles for Motivational Interviewing, effective in making high risk individuals for committing child sexual abuse prone to seek treatment for problems related to sexual urges involving minors at a health care facility?
The overall aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the ReDirection program for individuals with low or medium risk to commit child sexual abuse. Primary question: Is ReDirection a feasible, effective, and safe method in reducing low to medium risk participants' use of CSAM and related behaviors?
The main objective of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy of the combo Sacituzumab govitecan (SG) + Zimberelimab (AB 122) (ZIM) + Domvanalimab (AB 154) (DOM), measured as pathologic complete response (pCR) rates, in the perioperative setting in patients with Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC) who are either unfit for platinum-based chemotherapy or unwilling to receive that therapy.
