The sleep quality in university students is diminished by numerous factors such as alterations in lifestyles, changes, the socio-emotional development or academic performance.The detriment in the quality of sleep can have a negative effects on the quality of life and mental health. It is even a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. This study is a pilot type clinical trial in which it is intended to implement an intervention to improve the quality of sleep of university nursing students. A randomization of 40 students will be carried out to two treatment groups (intervention n=20 and control n=20). The intervention group will receive two 90-minute sessions during a week where the anatomical structures involved in sleep will be analyzed, workshops will be held to improve the quality of sleep with individual indications after analyzing their rhythms and patterns. The control group will continue with their usual routine.A pre-post evaluation will be carried out on both groups using the Kronowise 3.0 individual wearable bracelet device that measures sleep quality based on general indicators, sleep, wakefulness, internal time, circadian rhythms, temperature, activity, position and light. In addition, information on perceived sleep quality will be collected with the Pittsburgh questionnaire. Sociodemographic data will be collected in the pre measurement for both groups and satisfaction with the program will be collected in the post measurement in the intervention group.

The study aims to determine the feasibility and acceptability of an interdisciplinary educational intervention for nursing students to acquire the competence (knowledge, skill and attitude) to care for long-term cancer survivors and their families. The design is an exploratory randomized controlled trial Following the framework of the Medical Research Council, the method used is a multidisciplinary educational intervention consisting of a flipped classroom, a clinical simulation and a round table with a duration of ten hours. The variables to measure effectiveness were competence and its attributes: knowledge, skills and attitude. The variable to assess acceptability and feasibility was student satisfaction. Data were collected before and after the intervention.
The use of board games in classrooms has been increasing in recent years. Education and psychology professionals have found in the board game a way to train some key cognitive processes for good academic development: executive functions. Recent research has obtained promising results using modern board games as a neuroeducational intervention in children and old people (Benzing et al., 2018; Estrada-Plana et al., 2019; Estrada-Plana et al., 2020; Vita-Barrull et al., 2022). However, there is still little evidence of its cognitive and academic benefits in typically developing school-age children. Given that it is a methodology that, due to its dynamism and flexibility, could be adapted to different developmental levels, it has been proposed to study the possible effects on executive functions and academic skills of a classroom intervention based on board games with school children from rural areas of Spain (6-12 years). An experimental group will carry out the game program Conectar Jugando, which will be guided by the teachers themselves, through stable game groups of 3-4 students. On the other hand, a control group will develop the classes in a habitual way without the inclusion of board games and will be compensated at the end of the evaluations. The students of each center will be randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group.

Screening strategies and greater knowledge of risk factors by the population have contributed to a better prognosis. Specifically, in the case of behavioral factors, making women aware of their influence enables them to establish preventive measures themselves. Technologies are becoming a channel of communication, from a healthcare perspective, between the population and healthcare personnel. There are even specific terms like eHealth or mHealth. There is beginning to be evidence that collects the benefits and ways of using web-apps to achieve modification of risky behaviors and/or behaviors to prevent pathologies are acquired. The use of digital media, such as a web-app, to publicize BC risk factors makes it possible to specifically establish measures aimed at reducing its prevalence, which in turn will contribute to reducing the number of cases of BC. People with fibromyalgia could experience physical and cognitive impairment as well as higher dual-task cost than healthy people when two tasks are performed simultaneously. Transcranial direct current stimulation is a promising non-pharmacological therapy. However, there is insufficient evidence about the intensities dose-response. Therefore, this protocol aims to 1) to compare the effectiveness and the impact of two tDCS intensities (1mA and 2mA) on cognitive, motor, brain functions, and cardiac autonomic modulation; 2) to study the impact of tDCS on the dual-task performance and creativity after applying tDCS in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. As hypotheses, a reduction of cognitive-motor interference in dual-task performance and also a modification in neurophysiological parameters, and an improvement in cardiac autonomic modulation are expected. Finally, no different effects are obtained depending on the intensity applied.

The concern about the quality of sleep of university students, future professionals of the world, must be crucial for the scientific community, as well as for university professors and professors.
