There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Thromboelastometry better assess coagulation than standard coagulation test in patients undergoing ortothopic liver transplantation. In a post-hoc analysis from a randomized study recently conducted by our group, presurgical values of MA10 Extem < 35 mm are highly predictive of RBC administration , with no further improvement over MA10 Extem >40 mm ; suggesting that MA10 Extem between 35-40 would be the optimal range to manage blood product administration. The aim of the study is to validate this result in a prospective cohort of patients submitted to ortothopic liver transplantation.
Subjects participate in a motor learning training with a special bicycle. The experimental group proceed with 15 minutes of physical training with the bicycle and 15 minutes of rest where they use motor imaginary. The control group proceed equal except for the motor imaginary intervention.
In this study the investigators aim to investigate the relationship between environmental factors, lifestyle and symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Initially the investigators intend to measure the relationship between nutritional quality, exercise and sleep and ADHD symptoms. And then measure whether a change made in the diet can improve the symptoms of ADHD.
Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) presents with a gradual reduction and little bitterness reversible airflow causing shortness of breath, chronic cough and sputum abnormal. Patients with COPD often suffer exacerbations of their symptoms, particularly dyspnea, causing hospital admissions. Recent studies have shown that acupuncture stimulation transcutánea (AcuTENS) Dingchuan point (EX-B1) could help reduce dyspnea in patients with COPD. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the possible utility of adding to the usual treatment stimulation AcuTENS in COPD patients admitted with severe dyspnea. Methodology: Patients who agree to participate will be randomly divided into two groups. The intervention group will receive a daily treatment, during the period of hospitalization, 45 minutes stimulation at acupuncture point AcuTENS Dingchuan (EX-B1), while the control group performed the same procedure with a device TENS simulated. The extent of dyspnea in both groups as well as the number of days of hospitalization and the number of drugs consumed.
Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the most prevalent congenital malformation affecting 1 in 100 newborns per year. Children with CHD are a known risk population for brain injury, with neurodevelopmental alterations shown over time in up to 50% of cases. No adequate description exists of the type of neurocognitive anomalies or risk factors associated with CHD, and consequently no prognostic markers that may allow identification of high-risk cases are available.
Assisted reproduction patients candidates to an IVF/ICSI cycle with low follicular reserve: after at least one cycle of stimulation obtaining 0-4 oocytes. Improve the follicular response in patients with low response, increasing the number of follicles in subsequent cycles to treatment with growth factors.
Primary Objective: To describe the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of sarilumab in patients aged 1-17 years with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (sJIA) in order to identify the dose and regimen for adequate treatment of this population. Secondary Objective: To describe the pharmacodynamics (PD) profile, the efficacy, and the long term safety of sarilumab in patients with sJIA.
