NCT ID: NCT04380818 Recruiting - Pneumonia, Viral Clinical Trials

Low Dose Anti-inflammatory Radiotherapy for the Treatment of Pneumonia by COVID-19

Start date: June 5, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Low radiation doses produce anti-inflammatory effects, which may be useful in the treatment of respiratory complications of COVID-19. This type of treatment is non-invasive and therefore, a priori, it can be used in all types of patients. Main objective: To evaluate the efficacy of low-dose lung irradiation as an adjunctive treatment in interstitial pneumonia in patients with COVID-19 by improving the PAFI O2 by 20% measured 48h after treatment with respect to the pre baseline measurement. -irradiation.

NCT ID: NCT04380350 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Intracranial Aneurysm

Trenza Embolization Device for Intrasaccular Aneurysm Treatment

Start date: December 17, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this Post-Market Clinical Follow-up study is to assess the safety and performance of the Trenza in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.

NCT ID: NCT04379596 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Ph1b/2 Study of the Safety and Efficacy of T-DXd Combinations in Advanced HER2-expressing Gastric Cancer (DESTINY-Gastric03)

DG-03
Start date: June 3, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

DESTINY-Gastric03 will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity of trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) alone or in combination with chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy in HER2-expressing advanced/metastatic gastric/gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) and esophageal adenocarcinoma patients. Study hypotheses: Combination of T-DXd with cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy administered to subjects at the recommended phase 2 dose will show manageable safety and tolerability and preliminary anti-tumor efficacy so as to permit further clinical testing. T-DXd in combination with cytotoxic chemotherapy or immune checkpoint inhibitor administered to HER2-expressing gastric, GEJ and esophageal cancer patients who have not received prior treatment for advanced/metastatic disease will show preliminary evidence of anti-tumour activity and the potential to become a therapeutic option for this patient population.

NCT ID: NCT04378647 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hodgkin Lymphoma, Adult

BREntuximab Vedotin in SEcond LIne Therapy BEfore Transplant

BRESELIBET
Start date: June 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Randomized Phase IIb Study, Evaluating Efficacy of Salvage Therapy with Brentuximab Vedotin-ESHAP vs ESHAP in Patients with Relapsed / Refractory Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Followed by Brentuximab Vedotin Consolidation (instead of Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation) in Those who Attained a Metabolic Complete Remission after Salvage Therapy

NCT ID: NCT04378023 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Unresectable Cholangiocarcinoma

Liver Transplant Combined With Neoadjuvant Chemo-radiotherapy in the Treatment of Unresectable Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma. A Prospective Multicenter Study.

Start date: April 24, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

A prospective multicentre study which includes patients ≤ 70 years-old diagnosed of unresectable hilar cholangiocarcinoma (hCCA) ≤3cm in radial diameter, without evidence of lymph node or distant metastases. Liver transplantation preceded by neoadjuvant radio-chemotherapy will be performed in this selected group. The primary endpoint will be overall survival at 1, 3, and 5 years post-transplant. The secondary endpoints will be: 1) recurrence free survival at 1, 3 and 5 years post-transplant; 2) intention-to-treat survival of overall patients included in the study at 1,3 and 5 year; 3) the rate of patients included in the study who are finally transplanted.

NCT ID: NCT04377412 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Risk Factors for Anxiety and Depression Among Pregnant Women During the COVID-19 Pandemic

MindCOVID
Start date: May 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The article presents a protocol of a cross-sectional study of mental health of pregnant women in relation to the COVID 19 pandemic. The primary aim is to compare differences in anxiety and depression scores of pregnant women between countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The secondary aim is to assess demographic, economic, and social aspects affecting maternal anxiety and depression scores among pregnant women worldwide in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, investigators will be able to compare differences in perception of the different aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic (social distancing, restrictions related to delivery) between countries and according to the epidemic status (number of infected patients, number of reported deaths). The comparisons will also be done according to COVID-19 status of the participants.

NCT ID: NCT04372615 Recruiting - Encephalitis Clinical Trials

The ExTINGUISH Trial of Inebilizumab in NMDAR Encephalitis

ExTINGUISH
Start date: March 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Determine the difference in the modified Rankin score at 16 weeks in participants with anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis treated with "first-line" immunomodulatory therapies provided as standard-of-care, and either inebilizumab (investigational agent) or placebo.

NCT ID: NCT04370899 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Familial Hypercholesterolemia

Early Detection of Familial Hypercholesterolemia in Children

DECOPIN
Start date: March 14, 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Heterozigous FH is an underdiagnosed disease in the paediatric population. Its early detection, would allow us to initiate lifestyle therapeutical changes and early pharmacological therapy if necessary. This is a key fact to reduce atherosclerosis progression and cardiovascular risk in adulthood. Moreover, it will allow, detecting the first and second degree affected relatives.
