Multi-center observational clinical study to evaluate the application value of ctDNA monitoring in efficacy assessment and relapse prediction in patients diagnosed with unresectable, locally advanced NSCLC receiving CRT with or without durvalumab maintenance treatment.
The goal of this to determine the effect of tailored exergaming for inactive patients with heart failure to reduce their sedentary time, improve their daily physical activity, exercise capacity, decrease frailty and improve health-related quality of life. Participants will, on a background of standard guideline-directed medical therapy patients, be randomised to tailored activity advice (control) or the Heart-Exergame (Heart-eXg) intervention for a period of 3 months. Patients randomised to the Heart-eXg group will receive an exergame with feedback and tailoring to adapt the exergaming advice. Patients will also be able to play with a person in their own network.
The study of splenomegaly, and the follow-up of splenectomized patients, is one of the causes of referral of these patients to pediatric gastroenterology and oncohematology clinics, and adult internal medicine and hematology. It has been described that 0.3% of hospital admissions is for this reason. The study and management of splenomegaly is well described among the different medical specialties to which these patients arrive. After the application of the different algorithms and the different studies that are carried out, these splenomegaly are identified as being of hepatic, infectious, inflammatory, congestive, hematological origin and primary causes. Despite these studies of splenomegaly, approximately 10-15% of these patients still remain undiagnosed. The objective of the present study is to increase the diagnostic sensitivity of these unknown splenomegalys, or unknown splenomegaly patients who remain in consultations, using the usual diagnostic clinical procedures of unknown splenomegaly and unknown splenectomy patients, where the investigators include the extraction of a blood sample for dry drop test (DBS), where the determination of the enzymatic/genetic activity will be carried out for Gaucher disease (GD) and acid sphingomyelinase deficiency (ASMD) , analysis of LisoGl1 and LisoSM.
Mental disorders are currently among the main causes of disability worldwide. For this reason, various national and international organisations include the promotion of mental health among their strategic actions, with special emphasis on the fight against stigma. Evidence shows that stigma has a negative impact on the process of recovery and participation of people with mental disorders. The general aim of this study is to find out about the attitudes of university students at the University of A Coruña towards people with mental disorders and specifically to intervene with students of the Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy to assess whether taking part in a Mental Health Literacy Programme changes these attitudes.
This is a Phase 1 dose-escalation study of PRT3789, a SMARCA2 degrader, in participants with advanced or metastatic solid tumors with loss of SMARCA4 due to truncating mutation and/or deletion. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), and pharmacodynamic (PD) of PRT3789 monotherapy and in combination with docetaxel, describe any dose limiting toxicities (DLTs), define the dosing schedule, and to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) to be used in subsequent development of PRT3789.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate how Aztreonam (ATM) and Avibactam (AVI) are processed in pediatric participants. This study also aims to understand participant safety and effects in pediatric participants. The study is seeking participants who are: - 9 months to less than 18 years of age - Hospitalized - Suspected/known to have a gram-negative infection - Receiving intravenous (iv, given directly into a vein) antibiotics - Being treated for complicated infections of various body parts that includes the abdomen, urinary tract, blood stream, and lungs. - Participants will receive either ATM-AVI or best available therapy (BAT). - Both therapies will be given through a vein. - Participants with complicated abdominal infections will also receive iv Metronidazole (MTZ). - Participants on ATM-AVI treatment who have anaerobic infections will also receive iv MTZ at the study doctor's discretion. - The iv dose of ATM-AVI will be based on the participant's weight and kidney function. - The study doctor will determine the iv dose of BAT. - During the first 2 study days, participants on ATM-AVI therapy will have 5 blood draws in small quantities. - Starting on day 4, the study doctor will decide if participants may be switched to oral therapy. - Participants will receive a maximum of 14 days of ATM-AVI treatment. - After discharge from the hospital, 1 study visit may be required. - Depending on the participant's response, the study duration will be from 33 to 50 days. - The investigator will contact participants by phone 28 to 35 days after the last study treatment to check participants health status.
The goal of this observational study is to evaluate the Thoraflex Hybrid device alone and in combination with the RelayPro NBS stent-graft in the treatment of aortic disease affecting the aortic arch and descending aorta with or without involvement of the ascending aorta. Patients who undergo treatment with the Thoraflex Hybrid device with or without extension with a RelayPro NBS stent-graft will be eligible for enrolment and study activities and follow-up regime will follow standard care at each participating site. Participant involvement in the study will last for a total of 10 years from the point at which the Thoraflex Hybrid device is placed.
The trial will evaluate efficacy, safety and tolerability of two regimens of ianalumab compared to placebo, given as monthly or quarterly subcutaneous (s.c.) injection on top of standard-of-care (SoC) treatment in participants with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Investigators aimed at comparing the impact on ovarian reserve of three usual-care management options of endometrioma, laparoscopic cystectomy (LC), hormonal treatment with daily dienogest (HT), or mere ultrasound control (UC). Ovarian reserve will be measured by the effect on the circulating levels of anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH). Secondary objectives will be effect on pelvic pain, other symptoms, sexual function, quality of life, progression in size of the endometrioma, impact on work productivity and activity impairment, and satisfaction with treatment. Participants will be followed by up to one year.
