IMPRES Extn
Start date: April 2010
Phase: Phase 3

NCT ID: NCT01117129 Terminated - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

A Study of Efficacy of Rituximab [Mabthera/Rituxan] in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Hand (RESONAR)

Start date: April 2010
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, parallel group study will assess the efficacy and safety of rituximab [MabThera/Rituxan] in patients with severe active rheumatoid arthritis refractory to at least one anti-TNF treatment, using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the hand for efficacy measurement. Patients will be randomized to receive 2 intravenous infusions 14 days apart of either 1000mg MabThera (group A) or placebo (group B). All patients will receive methotrexate 10-25mg weekly. Patients in group A demonstrating clinical response at week 24 may receive further cycles of MabThera, patients in group B without clinical response will also be treated with active MabThera. Anticipated time on study treatment is up to 2 years. Target sample size is <50 patients.

NCT ID: NCT01111565 Terminated - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of an Oral Aripiprazole/Escitalopram Combination Therapy in Participants With Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Start date: October 4, 2010
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This will be a multicenter, randomized, double-blind study designed to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of an oral Aripiprazole/Escitalopram combination therapy in participants with MDD who have demonstrated an incomplete response to a prospective trial of Escitalopram, and report a treatment history for the current MDD episode of an inadequate response to at least one and no more than three adequate trials of an approved antidepressant other than Escitalopram. An inadequate response is defined as less than a 50% reduction in depressive symptom severity as assessed by the participant's self-report on the Massachusetts General Hospital Antidepressant Treatment Response Questionnaire (ATRQ) and evaluated by the investigator as part of the participant's medical and psychiatric history. An adequate trial is defined as an antidepressant treatment for at least 6 weeks duration (or at least 3 weeks for combination treatments) at an approved dose as specified in the ATRQ.

NCT ID: NCT01104298 Terminated - Sarcoma Clinical Trials

Doxorubicin vs. Trabectedin Plus Doxorubicin in Non Operable and/or Metastatic STS

Start date: November 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The proposed investigation intends to explore if the combination of trabectedin and doxorubicin in the first line of treatment of advanced sarcomas obtains better results than doxorubicin monotherapy

NCT ID: NCT01101906 Terminated - Clinical trials for Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)

A Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Double-blind Phase 2 Study With OSI-906 in Patients With Advanced HCC

Start date: January 10, 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind phase 2 study of OSI-906 or placebo at a continuous 150 mg twice daily (BID) dose.

NCT ID: NCT01098656 Terminated - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Lenalidomide Maintenance Post-debulking in Advanced CTCL

Start date: July 2010
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Observation is watching a patient's condition but not giving treatment unless symptoms appear or change. Lenalidomide may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking blood flow to the cancer. It is not yet known whether observation or lenalidomide is more effective in treating patients who are in complete or partial response after receiving previous gemcitabine hydrochloride or doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma or mycosis fungoides/Sézary syndrome. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying observation to see how well it works compared with lenalidomide in treating patients who are in complete or partial response after receiving previous gemcitabine hydrochloride or doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome for stage IIB, stage III, or stage IV cutaneous T-cell lymphoma or stage IIB, stage III, or stage IV mycosis fungoides/Sézary syndrome.

NCT ID: NCT01095809 Terminated - Uveitis Clinical Trials

Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of Repeated Dosis of Intravitreous Bevacizumab in Uveitic Macular Oedema

EBEV
Start date: April 2010
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether intravitreous bevacizumab or intravitreous triamcinolone acetonide are effective and safe in the treatment of uveitic macular oedema

NCT ID: NCT01095250 Terminated - Uveitis Clinical Trials
