There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Our aim will be to compare the analgesic efficacy and safety of magnesium sulphate as an adjuvant to bupivacaine in pericapsular nerve group block in Hip joint surgeries. - Our primary outcome of the study: total amount of postoperative morphine consumption in the first 24h postoperative. - Our secondary outcome of the study: mean arterial blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, adverse effects, block related complication, sedation score (by Ramsay sedation scale) and pain score (by Visual Analog Scale)
Using interrupted sutures in TIP technique by Snodgrass in repair of hypospadias instead of continuous sutures
Laparoscopy is a type of surgical procedure that allows a surgeon to access the inside of the abdomen and pelvis without making large incisions in the skin. The use of laparoscopy in abdomenal surgeries increases for its great benefits over open surgery as: 1)faster recovery, 2)decrease blood loss, 3)shorter hospital stays, 4)decreased postoperative pain, 5)earlier return to work and resumption of normal daily activity as well as, 6)cosmetic benefits. few studies discuss the efficacy and safety of using Laparoscopy in liver non anatomical resection.
This is a single-center, randomized controlled clinical trial with a parallel-group design conducted at Minia University hospital.
assessment of healing potentiality of peri apical lesions using different doses of trypsin and alpha chemo trypsin in mandibular molars with chronic apical abscess
Fracture neck femur are common injuries, especially seen in the elderly in the emergency setting. It is also seen in young patients with high-energy trauma. Immediate diagnosis and management are required to prevent threatening joint complications. Fracture neck femur in young adults is unsolved problem. The preservation of the native hip anatomy and biomechanics is essential in active young adults. Because of the vulnerable blood supply to the femoral part of the hip joint following these fractures, there is a high risk of developing avascular necrosis (AVN) and non-union. Any sort of surgical fixation should aim at preservation the blood supply while securing enough mechanical stability until the fracture unites. Open reduction is indicated in fractures which cannot be anatomically reduced by gentle manipulation. This should be carried out without any delay since this potentially can reduce the incidence of AVN. Treatment of fracture neck femur still controversial. There are several methods for treatment of fracture neck femur as multipe cannulated cancellous screws, locking plate, dynamic hip screw (DHS) with anti-rotational screw, and arthroplasty. There is no internal fixation method superior to another. In this study, we will compare the clinical and radiographic results of femoral neck locking plate vs multiple cannulated cancellous screw in treating femoral neck fractures in young adults.
Acne vulgaris is an inflammatory disorder of pilosebaceous glands. Acne is a highly prevalent inflammatory disease affecting approximately 9.4% of the world's population , and estimated up to 90% among adolescents. By natural course acne starts at 7-12 ages and mostly resolves by the third decade of individuals life . Mast cells may play important role in maintenance of physiological functions of our body; they also have a role in pathological and inflammatory mechanisms of many diseases. Tryptase is suggested to be important for survival as no tryptase-deficient human subject has yet been reported. Tryptase is mainly synthesized by mast cells but a very low amount may originate in basophil with no interference with total levels of the enzyme. Tryptase is currently considered as a metabolic signaling and effector mediator for acute mast cell degranulation and late phase of allergy and inflammation .
The sample size will be divided between two groups, Group A pulpectomy will be done using single rotary file in primary molars and group B pulpectomy will be done using manual K file system. follow up of the patients and clinical and radiographical success rates of cases will be seen.
Hydrocarbons are a primary energy source in modern society. They are present in many common household and occupational products, including motor fuels, paint thinners, cleaning agents, lotions, and industrial solvents. Unfortunately, these products are also used as agents of abuse and typically inhaled . They are derived mainly from petroleum (kerosene, gas, naphtha) or wood (turpentine, pine oil). They can be found in liquid, gas, or solid form depending on their properties. All hydrocarbons can be toxic, but aromatic (ring-shaped) and halogenated hydrocarbons typically have more severe toxicity . Toxicity occurs in various ways including through inhalation, ingestion, aspiration, and dermal exposure. Frequently, these exposures occur during attempted recreational use of the substances and sometimes for self-injurious behavior
The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of excimer laser in combination with intralesional MTX injection to intralesional MTX injection alone in treating nail psoriasis
