There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
To demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of nocturnal ventilation with oxygen (HFT - high-flow-therapy) for the treatment of CSA in patients with HFrEF compared to placebo (patient will breathe ambient air via nasal cannula that is not connected to the high-flow-device).
TENSION (Efficacy and safety of ThrombEctomy iN Stroke with extended leSION and extended time window) is a prospective, open label, blinded endpoint (PROBE), European two-arm, randomized, controlled, post-market study to compare the safety and effectiveness of endovascular thrombectomy as compared to best medical care alone in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke patients with extended stroke lesions defined by an Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) score of 3-5 and in an extended time window (up to 12 hours or unknown time of symptom onset). Up to 665 subjects will be randomized. Primary endpoint will be functional outcome assessed by the modified Rankin scale at 90 days post-stroke ("mRS shift analysis"). By this, TENSION will provide evidence of efficacy and safety of thrombectomy in an acute stroke population with uncertain benefit of endovascular stroke treatment.
This study was designed to characterize dose response, and evaluate safety and efficacy of three different doses of EMA401 compared to placebo in patients with post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN).
The primary aim of the present study is to investigate whether the optimisation of LVSV in addition to the optimisation of AV-D and VV-D when using the device-based sensor technology mentioned above results in an improved clinical outcome of CRT. Moreover, noninvasive measurements are intended to evaluate hemodynamic differences between the different stimulation configurations using the Finapres® method.
Investigation of the volume stability of the alveolar ridge, the bone structure and soft tissue appearance at a delayed dental implantation using two bone substitute materials (1. Human-Spongiosa, gefriergetrocknet, CHB; 2. collacone®)
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the change in serum potassium levels from start of treatment to Day 14, when patiromer is administered at different doses, once daily, in children 2 - < 18 years of age with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and hyperkalemia (too much potassium in the blood). Another purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of patiromer in children 2 - < 18 years of age with CKD and hyperkalemia.
Multicentre, multinational, prospective randomised, open-label, 3 sequence crossover phase III b clinical trial with blinded endpoint assessment (PROBE-design) - in 75 patients with sporadic small vessel diseases (SVDs) and - in 30 patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL)
This is a multicenter, open-label extension (OLE) study designed to assess the extended long-term safety of evolocumab in subjects who have completed the FOURIER trial (Study 20110118). Approximately 1600 subjects will be enrolled in this study. This study will continue for 260 weeks (approximately 5 years).
The PRESENT-P study is a one-arm exercise intervention study for hematological cancer patients prior allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT). This pilot study will investigate in a prehabilitation approach the safety and feasibility of high-intensity exercise program directly prior transplantation.
The primary objective of the study is to determine whether pemafibrate administered twice daily will delay the time to first occurrence of any component of the clinical composite endpoint of: - nonfatal Myocardial Infarction (MI) - nonfatal ischemic stroke - coronary revascularization; or - Cardio Vascular (CV) death.
