There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this longitudinal, observational study is to investigate the effects of gender-affirming hormone treatment in FTM (female to male) and MTF (male to female) transgender (TG) people with regard to changes in brain structure and function as well as psychological and behavioral consequences. Methodological problems and missing studies in this area were mentioned several times with an emphasis on the need for longitudinal research.
University of Schleswig-Holstein Campus Kiel is sponsoring the European TauroPace Registry. This investigator-initiated local, prospective, non-interventional, multi-center study includes patients undergoing cardiac implantable electronic placement including and not limited to placement, revision with the aim to upgrade or downgrade, generator substitution, additional lead placement, revision or extraction (procedure) with adjunct TauroPace. It is planned to include a total of at least 2300 procedures (valid for safety analysis).
The DiamondTemp™ Global Registry is a prospective, global, multi-center, observational post-market registry.
Patients who received the indication for endoscopic diagnostics using gastroscopy in transnasal technique will be included into the study. The examination is carried out in standard technique and is not influenced by the study. Following the examination, patient data is collected pseudonymously and a questionnaire is submitted to the patient.
The objective of this clinical investigation is to assess the safety and performance of the SonoClear Acoustic Coupling Fluid (ACF). The performance will be assessed by analysis of the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and assessment of image quality by using the Surgeon Image Rating (SIR) Scale. This is a prospective, multi-centre single-arm study where the performance of SonoClear ACF relative to routinely used acoustic coupling fluid is investigated by each patient being their own control. Patients with the diagnosis of HGG and LGG at up to 10 sites will be included. Additionally, safety data are collected at 30 days and 6 months post-procedure.
Open label, randomized, controlled phase II study preceded by a safety run-in part in subjects with advanced or metastatic soft-tissue sarcoma.
The aim of this prospective longitudinal study is to compare the quality of life of short bowel patients prior to and on teduglutide treatment with a non-treated patient group in a matched-pair design.
This observational study evaluates the effect of therapy with cystic fibrosis transmembrane regulator (CFTR) modulators on CFTR function measured by the CFTR biomarker intestinal current measurement (ICM), nasal potential difference (NPD) and sweat chloride in a post-approval setting in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF).
This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and efficacy of HM15136 when used as add-on therapy in subjects with CHI with persistent hypoglycemia while on standard of care treatment (SoC). HM15136 will be administered once weekly in multiple doses to subjects in multiple age including pediatric to find appropriate exposure-response data.
For the retrospective data analysis, patients with genetic diseases of any age and, if available, other family members, for whom genetic analyzes were carried out between 10/2016 and 12/2020, should be included. This equates to approximately 13,000 records, minus combined analyzes in the same patient, an estimated 12,000 individuals.
