There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The investigators hypothesize that atezolizumab will improve the prognosis of patients with stage III dMMR CRC ineligible for or refusing oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy compared to SOC and that these could therefore be promising therapeutic options.
The purpose of this trial is to investigate the safety and efficacy of acasunlimab (also known as GEN1046) as monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with non-small cell lung cancer who have progressed during or after treatment of previous standard of care
Intractable high intracranial pressures (ICP) are associated with poor functional outcomes and mortality, so the SCALPEL trials aims to evaluate the effect of decompressive craniectomy against decompressive laparotomy to lower those pressures in diffuse TBI. The primary outcome measure for that evaluation is functional outcome after 12 months on the extended Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS-E).
This study examines the effects of a brief mindfulness intervention (body scan) on emotional responses (e.g., affect, heart rate variability (HRV)) compared to an active control group. Another aim is to assess whether the effects of the mindfulness intervention can be augmented by optimizing positive expectations. The moderating role of interception on the mindfulness intervention's effects will also be examined.
Retrospective prospective Multicentric clinical follow up of patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation after being treated with the TricValve® Transcatheter Bicaval Valves System.
The objective of the observation is to collect and document data on treatment strategies for secondary central nervous system lymphoma (SCNSL) in routine clinical practice, whether obtained in the context of clinical trials or outside of trials. In particular, the following questions will be specified: - What therapeutic approaches are being pursued? - What is the clinical outcome of the various treatment options? - What is the frequency of serious adverse events with each therapeutic approach?
The MASPAC trial investigates the added benefit of MR-guided adaptive SBRT of the primary tumor embedded between standard chemotherapy cycles for pain control and prevention of pain in patients with metastatic PDAC (mPDAC).
To determine the safety of intrathecal (IT) PD1 antibody for Intrathecal application of PD1 antibody in metastatic solid tumors with leptomeningeal disease of solid tumors.
The observational study aims to investigate the effects of a multimodal treatment program for headache patients in a day clinic service. The setting provides one week of treatment including a combination of medical consultation, physiotherapy, psychological therapy, occupational therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and disease specific education. Outcome measures are the disease-specific impact on daily activities, general quality of life, psychological impact and headache frequency. Moreover, the study sought to identify parameters that best predict efficacy of the intervention. Therefore, standardized questionnaires are established in three points in time, to evaluate the pre- and post-treatment status.
The IRENE-G trial is a randomized controlled study that aims to investigate the effect of a supervised resistance exercise program (2x/week for 24 weeks) in combination with a nutritional intervention on physical performance/frailty in patients with GvHD symptoms treated with high dose steroids.
