Start date: June 4, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

NCT ID: NCT05009017 Recruiting - Biosimilar Clinical Trials

Multi-Centre, Observational Study on Safety of Bevacizumab Biosimilars in Clinical Practice Among Chinese Patients

Start date: January 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Monoclonal antibody drugs are expensive, and the listing of biosimilar drugs can help increase the availability and lower prices of biologic drugs, and can better meet the public's demand for biotherapeutic products. The first bevacizumab biosimilar in China was launched in December 2019. Although monoclonal antibody biosimilar drugs are similar to the original drug in terms of quality, safety and effectiveness, their production process may be different from the original drug, and their clinical application cannot be completely equivalent to the original drug. Especially after the market is applied to a wider patient population, the safety and effectiveness are more worthy of attention. This study started from the perspective of pharmacy. Three hospitals in China participated in the real-world safety assessment of bevacizumab biosimilars. An observational cohort study design was adopted to include all cases of lung cancer and colorectal cancer using bevacizumab biosimilars and original drugs during the study period, and the propensity score matching was used to reduce the influence of confounding factors and conduct safety assessment.

NCT ID: NCT05008679 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

The Effects of Neuraminidase Inhibitor Oseltamivir in Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

Start date: February 25, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Heart failure (HF) is a complex syndrome with increasing incidence and high rates of mortality and hospitalization. Although inhibitors of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), β-blockers and aldosterone-receptor blockers have improved the treatment of heart failure, mortality of HF remains unacceptably high. Recently, we identified a key metabolite N-acetylneuraminic acid (Neu5Ac) increased in the plasma of patients with heart failure. Also, elevated plasma Neu5Ac, independent of other traditional risk factors, is associated with poor prognosis in patients with HF in long-term follow up. Neu5Ac levels, the most common sialic acid in mammals, generated from sialylated glycoconjugates by neuraminidase. Neu5Ac and its regulatory enzyme neuraminidase play a key role in heart failure. We found neuraminidase inhibitor could reduce Neu5Ac levels and improve heart failure in mice model, providing opportunity for a novel therapeutic strategy in HF. Neuraminidase inhibitor oseltamivir is also an old anti-influenza drug. Using oseltamivir may be a new therapeutic strategy in heart failure. Based on above information, we designed the randomized, open-label, blank-controlled study in patients with chronic HF to receive either oseltamivir or placebo, in addition to standard HF therapy to Identify the effect of oseltamivir on serum Neu5Ac level in patients with heart failure and assess the clinic outcomes of level in patients with heart failure using oseltamivir.

NCT ID: NCT05008575 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute

Anti-CD33 CAR NK Cells in the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Start date: December 23, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

CAR technology has been used in T cell therapy and gets great success in treating hematological diseases. Following models of CAR T cells, CAR NK cell therapy has been one hot point. For myeloid malignancies, CD33 is widely expressed. Targeting CD33 surface antigens by CAR NK cells provides an off-the-shelf immune cell therapy.

NCT ID: NCT05008536 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Multiple Myeloma, Refractory

Anti-BCMA CAR-NK Cell Therapy for the Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Start date: October 1, 2021
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to infuse BCMA CAR-NK cells(Umbilical & Cord Blood (CB) Derived CAR-Engineered NK Cells) to the patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (MM), to assess the safety and feasibility of this strategy. The CAR enables the NK cells to recognize and kill the MM cells by targeting of BCMA, a protein expressed of the surface of the malignant plasma cells in MM patients.

NCT ID: NCT05008471 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Application of Whole-course Standardized Nutrition Management During Peri-radiotherapy in Patients With Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma After Radiotherapy: a Multicenter Randomized Controlled Clinical Study

Start date: April 26, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will present an advanced equipment of tumor nutrition diagnosis and assesment for nasopharyngeal cancer(NPC) radiotherapy patients in nutritional risk screening, evaluation, diagnosis and directing nutritional intervention, aiming to explore the advantages of the whole nutritional management in acute radiation reaction rate, completion rate of radiotherapy, nutritional status, and quality of life for NPC patients.

NCT ID: NCT05007938 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Befotertinib and Icotinib in Treatment-naive Patients With Advanced EGFR-Mutant Lung Cancer

Start date: August 12, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research study is studying a combination of two drugs as a possible treatment for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) with an EGFR mutation.

NCT ID: NCT05007665 Recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Safety and Immune Response of COVID-19 Vaccination in Patients With Chronic Liver Diseases

SIMPLE
Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

On 11 February 2020, the International Committee for the Classification of Viruses named the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection in humans as the new coronavirus pneumonia (coronavirus disease 2019, COVID-19). Due to the characteristics of liver microcirculation disturbance and immune function disorder in patients with chronic liver diseases (such as immune liver disease, chronic hepatitis C, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, etc.), those patients has a higher risk of infection than the general population during the epidemic period. More attention should be paid to personal protection and disease prevention. Vaccination of COVID-19 vaccine can effectively prevent COVID-19 virus infection and delay or prevent patients from developing into critical illness and reduce mortality. To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine in those patients with chronic liver diseases, and to guide the COVID-19 vaccination more scientifically, reasonably and effectively, this study was carried out.
