There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
From Jan 2022 to June 2022, 120 subjects (22-75 years of age, mean ±standard deviation [SD] of 53.20 ±14.49 years) with type 1 or type 2 diabetes participated in the study in P.R. China. Subjects wore two sensors in the abdomen which were paired with smart devices running a glucose monitoring mobile application (i3/H3 CGM APP). Subjects were asked to undergo one in-clinic visit (on one of the study days 2, 7-9, or 15) for 7-hour long YSI frequent sampling test (FST) periods, where intravenous (IV) blood samples were drawn every 15 min and analyzed using the YSI 2300 STAT Plus Glucose & Lactate Analyzer (Yellow Springs Instrument, YSI Life Sciences, Yellow Springs, OH).
This study aimed to compare the efficacy of online exercise therapy with conventional exercise therapy on pain, function, psychological status and work efficiency of young adults with chronic neck pain. A randomized clinical trial recruiting 39 university students with self-reported chronic neck pain was conducted. Participants were randomly assigned into the experimental group receiving online exercise therapy and the active control group receiving conventional exercise therapy. Participants in both groups completed the same exercise program 3 sessions per week for 6 weeks, with either face-to-face or online mode of delivery by physiotherapists. The pain level was assessed using visual analogue scale (VAS) based on average and at maximum intensity. Neck function and work limitations were assessed by the Neck Disability Index (NDI) and Work Limitations Questionnaire (WLQ) respectively. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and its subscales (HADS-A and HADS-D) were used to evaluate the overall symptoms, levels of anxiety and depression respectively. Participants were assessed at baseline and at 6 weeks while the changes in WLQ were assessed biweekly. It is hypothesized that, young adults with chronic neck pain, both the online and conventional exercise interventions could improve their pain level, neck disability, anxiety state and work efficiency, and the online exercise intervention appeared feasible as an alternative treatment option for them.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the pharmacokinetic profile and observe the safety of GFH312 after single and multiple administrations in healthy Chinese subjects.
Purpose Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a risk factor for incisional hernia, COPD has persistent airflow restriction and pulmonary ventilation dysfunction. The aim of this study was to compare differences in pulmonary ventilation function between primary incisional hernia and recurrent incisional hernia. Method According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,Patients diagnosed with "incisional hernia" in our hospital's electronic medical record system were divided into two groups: primary group and recurrent group based on whether the incisional hernia recurred after incisional hernia repair, who were screened out with abdominal wall incisional hernia. The patient information of the two groups were collected, examined and recorded. The clinical data was analyzed by using statistical analysis software.
Both fibroblast activation protein (FAP)-targeted imaging and somatostatin receptors (SSTR)-targeted imaging were the promising imaging modalities for the diagnosis of primary and metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). This prospective study is going to investigate to compare the diagnostic efficacy of 68Ga-FAPI and 68Ga-DOTATATE in detecting primary and metastatic NPC lesions, thereby obtaining a more accurate examination method of NPC.
Antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) refers to the occurrence of other unexplained diarrhea symptoms after the use of antibiotics, often combined with abdominal pain, bloating and bloody stool. Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) is a therapeutic method to transplant the microbiota from the feces of healthy people into the intestinal tract of patients. To explore the overall efficacy and safety of FMT in the treatment of AAD.
The cohort study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of steroids combined with anticoagulant therapy compared to standard anticoagulant therapy in acute/subacute severe cerebral venous thrombosis.
This is a retrospective cohort study of radiofrequency ablation for the treatment atrial fibrillation(AF). Based on the electrophysiological phenomena found in these cases, the investigators propose a hypothesis regarding the underlying electrophysiological mechanism of AF, as well as a novel approach for catheter ablation of AF.
Purpose: A robotic system was recently introduced to improve prosthetic alignment during total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this multicenter prospective randomized controlled trial (RCT) study was to determine whether robotic-arm-assisted TKA improves the clinical and radiological outcomes in patients compared to conventional TKA. Methods: One hundred and thirty patients who underwent primary TKA were enrolled in this prospective, multicenter RCT conducted in 3 hospitals. Five patients were lost to follow-up at 6 weeks after surgery. Therefore, 125 patients (63 in the intervention group and 62 in the control group) remained in the final analysis. The primary outcome was the rate of patients whose mechanical axis of the femur was less than 3° deviated from the mechanical axis of the tibia evaluated by full-length weight-bearing X-rays of the lower limb at 6 weeks postoperatively. Secondary outcomes will include operation times, 6-week postoperative functional outcomes evaluated by the American Knee Society Score (KSS) and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC), SF-36, adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs). Hypothesis: Robotic-arm-assisted TKA is safe and effective as demonstrated in this trial.
This study intends to use a randomized controlled trial design to vaccinate all participants against rabies and perform ARA interventions during vaccination to test the efficacy, safety, and intestinal flora of each group after immunization.
