This study was a retrospective observational study. The study included patients with non-small cell lung cancer with ALK-fusion brain metastases or meningeal metastases who received first-line and late-line treatment with the third-generation ALK TKI lorlatinib between June 2022 and June 2023. Data were collected from the electronic medical records database and hospital information system of many hospitals in Sichuan Province. Clinical pathology features including gender, age, ALK mutation status at diagnosis, and clinical stage at diagnosis were collected from the medical records. The physical condition assessed by ECOG-PS before the administration of lorlatinib was recorded. Information on anti-tumor therapy was obtained from the records, including dose and time of ALK-TKI therapy and tumor response, number of prior systemic therapy lines, drug regimen, efficacy, and whether local therapy such as radiotherapy and surgery had been received. In this study, the sample size is not limited, and information is collected according to the maximum number of patients. The study period was from 01 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
The objective of this clinical trial is to determine whether progressive muscle relaxation training and acupressure can reduce kinesiophobia (fear of movement) in patients recovering from meniscoplasty surgery. The study will also monitor the safety of these non-pharmacological interventions. The main questions the trial aims to answer are: Does the combination of progressive muscle relaxation training and acupressure decrease kinesiophobia in post-meniscoplasty patients? What are the other benefits, if any, of these interventions in terms of pain management and functional mobility? Are there any negative effects associated with these treatments? Participants in the study will: Receive progressive muscle relaxation training and acupressure or a placebo control treatment for a duration of 3 months. Visit the clinic once every month for evaluation and follow-up treatments. Keep a journal recording their fear of movement levels, pain levels, and mobility status.

Liver transplantation not only removes the liver tumor (seed) but also eliminates the underlying diseased liver (soil), making it an essential therapeutic approach for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the tumor recurrence post-liver transplantation significantly jeopardizing the long-term survival of transplant recipients. Given the scarcity of donor livers, exploring effective measures to prevent tumor recurrence after liver transplantation holds significant clinical and societal value. Currently, there is no consensus on adjuvant therapy for preventing tumor recurrence post-liver transplantation for HCC, and the quantity and quality of studies on systemic chemotherapy are limited. In recent years, administration of the FOLFOX regimen combined with lenvatinib has been widely used in the treatment of advanced HCC, showing remarkable efficacy. The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of adjuvant chemotherapy with FOLFOX combined with lenvatinib in preventing tumor recurrence after liver transplantation for HCC beyond Milan criteria.

Intraoperative pelvic autonomic nerve (PAN) injury is the dominant reason for genitourinary malfunction after total mesorectal excision (TME), particularly in low rectal tumours. TME necessitates meticulous, sharp dissection with an awareness of the PAN pathway. In particular, laparoscopic TME (L-TME) is technically difficult and requires advanced laparoscopic surgical skills. Comparing with the conventional laparoscopic approach, 3D vision, surgeon-manipulated camera systems, and multi-degree-of-freedom robotic instruments facilitate identification and preservation of the PAN during robotic-assisted TME (R-TME), theoretically facilitating favourable recovery of postoperative genitourinary function. Previous studies have mostly focused on the impact of advanced robotic technologies on postoperative functions. However, in addition to robotic surgical technology, postoperative function is impacted by multiple other intricate factors, such as oncology, comorbidities, postoperative complications, and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Consequently, the superiority of robotic surgery in terms of recovery of postoperative genitourinary function has been controversial in previous studies. Hence, to comprehensively evaluate the effect of robotic technology on postoperative genitourinary function, we conducted a prospective controlled study comparing the conventional approach and robotic surgery.
This study is a double blind comparative study exploring the neural underpinnings of taVNS modulating PD motor deficits. We hypothesize that taVNS might improve PD motor deficits by regulating the balance between excitation and inhibition in the primary motor cortex.
Despite advancements in Magnetic Seizure Therapy (MST) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), there remains a need for further research to replicate clinical outcomes and understand the therapeutic targets of these treatments. This study aims to address these gaps through a double-blinded, randomized, non-inferiority investigation comparing the efficacy, tolerability, cognitive adverse effects, and neurophysiological biomarkers of MST and bilateral ECT in patients with MDD.
Objective: To evaluate the overall efficacy of rTMS in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome and to explore the central mechanism of rTMS for IBS. Methods: 1. Clinical efficacy evaluation of TMS for chronic visceral pain in IBS patients The 200 IBS patients who meet the recruitment criteria for the clinical study will be randomized into 100 patients in rTMS and Western medicine group. Corresponding treatment was given for 1 week, rTMS group received 1 Hz/s, 20 min for 1 week; Western medicine group received pivinonium tablets orally, 50 mg three times a day for 1 week. Clinical assessment included symptoms, stool traits, mood, and sleep. 2. Study on the central mechanism of using fMRI to treat chronic visceral pain in IBS patients Forty cases each were included in the IBS-eligible patient group and the healthy control group, and repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment was given to the patient group for 1 week, and the patient group underwent the assessment of clinical observational indexes (IBS-SSS, SAS, SDS, and AIS) before and after the treatment and the acquisition of functional magnetic resonance data. In the healthy control group, clinical observation indexes (SAS, SDS, AIS) were evaluated before enrollment, and functional magnetic resonance data were collected after enrollment. Conclusion: 1. The clinical efficacy of rTMS for IBS is superior to that of the western drug pivoxyl bromide tablets. 2. Targeted brain areas of rTMS treatment: there was a positive correlation between the change in ALFF values of mPFC and the improvement in abdominal pain level score before and after treatment.
