The purpose of ALLEGRO-HTN trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of renal denervation in subjects with resistant hypertension by using Allegro renal denervation system

NCT ID: NCT01872234 Terminated - Clinical trials for Congestive Heart Failure

MADIT ASIA Cardiac Resynchronization Trial

MADIT-ASIA
Start date: February 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this trial or study is to determine if pacemaker therapy can be a beneficial alternative to conventional medical therapy in patients with a history of moderate heart failure. The investigators are looking to enroll approximately 180 people in this trial. Patients will be randomized in two groups. One group will be implanted with a pacemaker and will continue to receive conventional medical therapy as prescribed by their doctor. The second group will continue to receive conventional medical therapy as prescribed by their doctor and will not be implanted with a pacemaker. Clinical histories, physical exams, and external device testing will be collected both at the time of enrollment in the trial and during follow-up study visits. Patients who enter the study will be seen for study visits at 1 month, 3 and 6 months.

NCT ID: NCT01871480 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

CIK Cell Transfusion Plus Gefitinib As Second Or Third-Line Treatment for Advanced Adenocarcinoma Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: May 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Lung cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) comprises about 85% of all lung cancer cases, which is the leading cause of cancer mortality, and adenocarcinoma is the most prevalent subtype. Gefitinib showed lower efficiency of treatment as second or third-line in patients with advanced adenocarcinoma NSCLC. It is necessary to further improve the efficiency of treatment in patients with advanced NSCLC. Immunotherapy with cytokine-induced killer cells (CIK) may improve tumor control and survival, as well as a better quality of life. This study is to evaluate the efficacy of Autologous CIK Transfusion plus Gefitinib for advanced, recurrence, metastatic adenocarcinoma NSCLC.

NCT ID: NCT01866904 Terminated - Clinical trials for Stable Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Myocardial Infarction

Long-Term rIsk, Clinical manaGement and Healthcare Resource Utilization of Stable CAD in Post MI Patients

TIGRIS
Start date: June 19, 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

THis study is intended to provide contemporary data on the burden of disease in patients 1 to 3 years post-MI, including a description of patient characteristics, current treatment patterns, rate of major CV events, and healthcare resource utilization in a 'real world' patient population at high atherothrombotic risk.

NCT ID: NCT01840943 Terminated - Clinical trials for Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

A Study to Compare CAELYX With Topotecan HCL in Patients With Recurrent Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma Following Failure of First-Line, Platinum-Based Chemotherapy

Start date: June 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness between CAELYX and topotecan hydrochloride (HCl) in Chinese participants with recurrent epithelial ovarian carcinoma following failure of first-line, platinum-based chemotherapy, who have received no more than one prior platinum-based regimen therapy.

NCT ID: NCT01813656 Terminated - Clinical trials for Methamphetamine Dependence

An Study of Aripiprazole in the Treatment of Methamphetamine Dependence

Start date: September 2012
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Methamphetamine substance use is common worldwide. No approved pharmacologic treatments for methamphetamine dependence exist. Aripiprazole are Second generation antipsychotics, but have different pharmacological effects of neurotransmitters. To determine whether mirtazapine would reduce methamphetamine use among mehtamphetamine addicts.

NCT ID: NCT01813643 Terminated - Clinical trials for Methamphetamine Dependence

A Comparison of Risperidone and Aripiprazole for Treatment of Patirnts With Methamphetamine-Associated Psychosis

Start date: July 2012
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Methamphetamine-associated psychosis (MAP) has been considered a pharmacological or environmental pathogen model of schizophrenia (SCZ) due in part to similarities in clinical presentation (i.e. paranoia, hallucinations, disorganized speech, and negative symptoms), response to treatment (e.g.neuroleptics),and pathologic mechanisms (e.g. central dopaminergic neurotransmission) of both conditions. Both risperidone and aripiprazole are second generation antipsychotics, but have different pharmacological effects of antipsychotic treatment. This study was designed to examine the acute efficacy, safety, and tolerability of risperidone and aripiprazole for patients with MAP.

NCT ID: NCT01781962 Terminated - Ocular Hypertension Clinical Trials

A Study of Quantitative Assessments of Angle Width in Chinese Patients With Open-angle Glaucoma and/or Ocular Hypertension

Start date: January 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study will assess angle width in Chinese patients with Open-angle Glaucoma and/or Ocular Hypertension.
