Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) is a highly lethal disease with limited treatment options. In recent years, prone position ventilation has been shown to improve the mortality rate and lung injury of ARDS patients by promoting lung recruitment, improving ventilation/perfusion (V/Q) ratio, enhancing respiratory system compliance, promoting sputum drainage, and effectively avoiding overinflation of the dorsal lung. Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) technology has been used to evaluate the effect of prone position ventilation on lung V/Q matching, and some studies have confirmed that prone position ventilation can improve lung V/Q matching and oxygenation index. However, previous studies were mostly case reports or small-sample physiological studies that lacked dynamic changes in lung V/Q matching during repeated prone position ventilation. Therefore, this study hypothesizes that prone position ventilation can increase lung V/Q matching in ARDS patients, and its improvement is correlated with changes in oxygenation index, invasive ventilation time, and patient prognosis. Repeated prone position ventilation can maintain lung V/Q matching at a higher level, no longer affected by changes in body position, which can accelerate pulmonary function recovery and improve the prognosis of ARDS patients.
To determine whether treating to an LDL-C target of 25 to <70 mg/dL is superior to an LDL-C target of 70 to <100 mg/dL with respect to major cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, hospitalization for unstable angina, or coronary revascularization) in patients aged ≥75 years with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). To determine whether treating to an LDL-C target of 25 to <70 mg/dL is non-inferior to an LDL-C target of 70 to <100 mg/dL with respect to major safety events (hemorrhagic stroke, new-onset diabetes, muscle-related events, neurocognitive adverse events, new or recurrent cancer, cataract, or hepatic disorder [Alanine aminotransferase (ALT)/Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) >3× ULN, or total bilirubin >2× ULN]) in patients aged ≥75 years with ASCVD.
The goal of this observational study is to: 1) determine the prevalence of sleep disorders in pregnancy and the early postpartum; 2) identify factors associated with sleep disturbance during pregnancy and the early postpartum; 3) describe the progression of sleep quality and quantity as gestational age; 4) determine if sleep is associated with adverse perinatal outcomes. Participants were asked to wear a forehead sleep recorder for 4 consecutive days and to complete a sleep questionnaire at ten timepoints: at 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months, 7 months, 8 months, and 9 months pregnant and at 1 month, 2 months and 3 months postpartum.

This study is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical study. 60 cases of insomnia patients with depressive symptoms are planned to be treated, and they are randomly assigned to the experimental group (Shugan Jieyu Capsule combined with zolpidem group) and the control group (placebo combined with zolpidem group) in equal proportion. Both groups are given zolpidem orally for basic treatment, with the treatment dose of 10mg per tablet per day, one tablet per time, once a day, before sleep, for 8 consecutive weeks. The test group was given Shugan Jieyu Capsule orally, with a therapeutic dose of 0.36g per capsule, 2 capsules each time, twice a day, and once after breakfast and dinner. The control group was given placebo orally, with a treatment dose of 0.36g per capsule, 2 capsules each time, twice a day, and once after breakfast and dinner. The therapeutic effect of Shugan Jieyu Capsule on insomnia patients with depressive symptoms was observed by analyzing the changes of ISI scores, subjective and objective sleep indicators (PSG, sleep diary), daytime cognitive function, autonomic nervous function and EEG after the intervention in the fourth and eighth weeks.
Cough is a common symptom of respiratory medicine clinic patients, which has complex etiology and wide-ranging. Cough is usually divided into three categories by time: acute cough, subacute cough and chronic cough. Subacute cough has a 3~8 weeks course of disease. Its main etiology is postinfectious cough, which is mostly secondary to viral infection.The drug in this study is for post-infection cough in subacute cough. After long-term clinical practice, six traditional Chinese medicines, including Aster, Lonicera japonica, Shegan, dried ginger, mango seed and Schizonepeta tenuifolia, were selected to form Zihua Wenfei Zhisou Decoction. This product has the effect of relieving wind, relieving cough, warming the lung and resolving phlegm. It can be used for the cough syndrome caused by Wind-cold invading lungs syndrome. The aim is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Zihua Wenfei Zhisou Granule in the treatment of postinfection cough (wind-cold lung syndrome) with placebo as a control.
