NCT ID: NCT05521282 Completed - Hypertension Clinical Trials

The Efficacy of Qianglidingxuan Tablets in the Treatment of Hypertension

Start date: March 9, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Research purpose: This study was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, post-marketing clinical study in Chinese patients with essential hypertension to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qianglidingxuan tablets(QLT) in the treatment of blood pressure in patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension. 1. Subject: Patients diagnosed as essential hypertension with clinical grade 1-2. 2. Interventions: ①Basic treatment plan:Patients in both groups were required to have a low-salt, low-fat diet, quit smoking, limit alcohol, eat more vegetables, moderate exercise, control body weight, and amlodipine besylate tablets (5mg, QD). ②Treatment group: Based on the basic treatment, QLT was given 6 tablets/time, 3 times a day, and warm water was given for 12 weeks. ③Control group: Based on basic treatment, QLT mimetic were given 6 tablets/time, 3 times a day, and warm water was given for 12 weeks. 3. Treatment and follow-up cycle: Patients in both groups were treated for 12 weeks and followed up to the end of 48th week after treatment. 4. Provisions of concurrent treatment: Any combined treatment used during the study should be recorded in the CRF, including drug name (generic name/trade name), starting time, administration dose, method of administration, termination time, indication, etc 5. Efficacy evaluation: ①Primary outcome measure: the change from baseline in office blood pressure after 12 weeks of treatment. ②Secondary efficacy indicators: 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure, heart rate, blood lipids, homocysteine, CRP, baPWV. TCM syndromes (including vertigo, headache, impatience and irritability, red face, red eyes, dry mouth, bitter mouth, tinnitus, insomnia, multiple dreams, constipation, urination, etc.) ③Safety indicators: adverse events, vital signs, physical examination, laboratory examination 6. Statistics: SAS® 9.4 was used for all statistical analyses.

NCT ID: NCT05521139 Completed - Liver Abscess Clinical Trials

Risk Factors for Pyogenic Liver Abscess With Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella Pneumoniae: A Matched Case-control Study

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pyogenic liver abscess (PLA) is a complication of infectious disease, and the most common pathogen of PLA is Klebsiella pneumoniae, while PLA caused by Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) has become a threat to public health. For achieving a better therapeutic outcome of CRKP related PLA, it is very important to figure out the basic characteristics and risk factors of CRKP-PLA. A retrospective cohort study was performed in which 15 PLA patients carriage of K pneumoniae were screened at the Xiangya hospital of central south university (changsha, China). The colonization and clinical infection isolates were analyzed by antimicrobial susceptibility testing to identify CRKP. All admission patients diagnosed with PLA who developed CRKP were included, 5 adults PLA patients with CRKP infected and 10 adults PLA patients with Carbapenem sensitive Klebsiella pneumoniae (CSKP) infected were conducted. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression was carried out using a stepwise selection method to compare prognostic factors between CRKP and CSKP groups.

NCT ID: NCT05519176 Completed - Venous Ulceration Clinical Trials

A Study of Risk Factors for Venous Ulceration in Patients With Varicose Veins of Lower Extremities.

Start date: January 1, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Varicose veins of lower extremities can lead to adverse consequences such as ulceration and hemorrhage, which seriously endangering the physical and mental health and quality of life for patients. The aim of this study is to explore the potential risk factors of venous ulceration in patients with varicose veins of lower extremities based on a case-control study, and to provide a reference for personalized treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05518929 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Hypoxia During Gastroenterological Endoscope Procedures Sedated With Ciprofol In Overweight Or Obesity Patients

SpO2
Start date: September 8, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Ciprofol is a new general anesthetic, which combine with γ- Aminobutyric acid-a (GABAA) receptor. Ciprofol has shown equivalent anesthetic efficacy of propofol at 1/4 to 1/5 of the dosage. Ciprofol has the pharmacodynamic characteristics of rapid onset, stable and rapid recovery. Phase III clinical results showed that the incidence of injection pain and respiratory and circulatory depression of ciprofol was lower than that of propofol. Therefore, ciprofol has a good application prospect in the sedation for gastrointestinal endoscopy, especially for overweight and obese patients. We conduct a Multicenter, Randomized, Open-label, Propofol-controlled Study to Evaluate the incidence of hypoxia and severe hypoxia during Gastroenterological Endoscope sedated with CiProfol in Overweight or Obesity patients.
