Histiocytic disorders are rare diseases that are characterized by tissue infiltration of histiocytes (dendritic cells) and other inflammatory white blood cells.68Ga-FAPI has been developed as a tumor-targeting agent as fibroblast activation protein is overexpressed in cancer-associated fibroblasts and it might be a pan-tumor PET agent.Recent discoveries have shown that inflammation and fibrosis secondary to mutated histiocytes, rather than a proliferative cell mechanism, result in manifestation of the disease.Thus, the investigators aim to carry out this prospective study to investigate the role of 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT in the diagnosis, therapy response assessment and follow-up of histiocytosis.

This study aims to enroll premenopausal patients, with early breast cancer who are non-low-risk and hormone receptor-positive and have undergone prior surgical intervention at the Breast Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. These participants, receiving tamoxifen (TAM), toremifene (TOR), or aromatase inhibitors (AI) as adjuvant endocrine therapy and undergoing ovarian function suppression (OFS) treatment, will be divided into three groups, namely TOR+OFS, TAM+OFS, AI+OFS. The study will compare the efficacy and safety of TOR+OFS to that of TAM+OFS or AI+OFS in premenopausal estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer patients by comparing the 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) and quality of life etc. The objective is to evaluate whether TOR+OFS is non-inferior to TAM+OFS or AI+OFS in this specific patient population.

Effects of Oxycodone Combined With Pregabalin on Chronic Postsurgical Pain in Spinal Surgery

Chronic postoperative pain is one of the common perioperative complications, which seriously affects the prognosis of patients. Currently, no specific perioperative pain management strategy has been found to be effective in preventing and treating chronic postoperative pain in patients undergoing spinal surgery. At present, oxycodone has been widely recognized in different surgical populations for the control of acute postoperative pain, but its contribution to chronic postoperative pain remains unknown. Meanwhile, whether pregabalin can reduce the occurrence of chronic postoperative pain remains controversial, and whether the combination of the two drugs can control the occurrence of chronic postoperative pain in a more comprehensive way remains unknown. Therefore, we intend to conduct this randomized-controlled, factorial design study to determine the efficacy and safety of oxycodone combined with pregabalin in the treatment of chronic postoperative pain in patients undergoing spinal surgery.
