Efficacy Comparison of Dostarlimab Plus Chemotherapy Versus Pembrolizumab Plus Chemotherapy in Participants With Metastatic Non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

NSCLC comprises of approximately 84 percent (%) of all lung cancers and is often diagnosed at advanced stage due to poor prognosis. Dostarlimab is an immunoglobulin G (IgG)4 kappa humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb) that binds with high affinity to programmed cell death protein 1 (PD 1), resulting in inhibition of binding to programmed death ligand 1 (PD L1) and programmed death ligand 2 (PD L2). This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety PD-1 inhibitors dostarlimab and pembrolizumab, when administered in combination with chemotherapy (pemetrexed, cisplatin and carboplatin), in participants with non-squamous NSCLC without a known sensitizing epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), or receptor tyrosine kinase-1 (ROS-1) mutation, BRAF V600E mutation, or other genomic aberration for which an approved targeted therapy is available. A total of approximately 240 participants will be enrolled in the study for a period of 5 years.

Health Care Workers' Perception of Patient Safety During COVID-19 Pandemic

Objective: Analyze health care workers' perception of patient safety during the COVID 19 pandemic. Methodology: Analytical cross-sectional observational study, with a quantitative focus on healthcare workers who are working on-site during the pandemic in the services of healthcare institutions that agree to participate in the countries where the study will be conducted, by applying a survey of patient safety perceptions in healthcare workers in times of pandemic. Analysis of the data will employ descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to meet the objectives of the study using IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows version 25.0 software. Expected results: The study seeks to generate evidence for the perception of patient safety in times of pandemic, for which it will generate the submission of an article with the results obtained to an indexed journal and presentation at a scientific event.

Acceptability and Feasibility Study of the Program "Yo Se Lo Que Quiero" (Unplugged)

Substance use and drug related disorders are important public health problems. Alcohol and illicit drug use account for 5.4% of the total burden of disease and the peak has been found in early adulthood (between ages 20 and 30 years). Substance use is one of the leading problems among Chilean adolescents. One out of four 8 th to 12 th graders have smoked cigarettes in the last month. A 35.6% of students (37%, girls; 34.2%, boys) between Year 8 and Year 12 have reported any alcohol use during the last month. It is worrying that a third of 14 years old students report using alcohol in the last month in Chile. Furthermore, two out of three who are using alcohol, report regularly using 5 or more drinks in a row during the last month. Cannabis use among young Chileans has increased in recent years. Today, one out of five students between Year 8 and Year 12 referred cannabis use during the last 30 days. Almost a 20% of students in Year 8 have used cannabis in the last year. Therefore, is urgent to provide evidence-based drug preventive interventions to the Chilean population, specifically to school students, to tackle this problem and reduce the risk for a more dramatic future health scenario. The aim of this study was to assess the acceptability and feasibility of the cultural adaptation of "Yo Sé Lo Que Quiero" program. This is a pilot randomized controlled trial. The participants of this pilot were students attending six low-income primary schools in Santiago, Chile.
