NCT ID: NCT05153239 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Relapsed Small Cell Lung Cancer

Clinical Trial of Lurbinectedin as Single-agent or in Combination With Irinotecan Versus Topotecan or Irinotecan in Patients With Relapsed Small-cell Lung Cancer (LAGOON)

Start date: July 22, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Multicenter, open-label, randomized, controlled phase III clinical trial to evaluate and compare the activity and safety of two experimental arms consisting of lurbinectedin as single agent (Group A) or the combination of lurbinectedin with irinotecan (Group B) versus Investigator's Choice (topotecan or irinotecan) as control arm (Group C), in Small-cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) patients who failed one prior platinum-containing line.

NCT ID: NCT05153083 Suspended - Aneurysm Clinical Trials

Cryoablation of Intercostal Nerves for Better Control of Postoperative Pain After Thoracic and Thoracoabdominal Open Surgery

Start date: December 31, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the registry is to evaluate the peri-operative and short- term outcomes of intercostal nerves cryoablation for post-operative pain control after open thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms repair. The cryoablation procedure is one of the opportunities for pain control after thoracotomy. So, it is routinely performed in major several centers in aortic surgery around the world as a part of the TAA and TAAA procedure. The Registry will include approximately 200 patients treated from January 2022 to January 2024 for thoracic or thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm by means of open surgery and in whom intraoperative intercostal nerves cryoablation will be performed; to reach 200 patients, the enrolments can be extended until January 2027.

NCT ID: NCT05151640 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Lung Diseases, Interstitial

INCHANGE - Nintedanib for Changes in Cough and Dyspnea in Patients Suffering From Chronic Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Disease With a Progressive Phenotype in Everyday Clinical Practice: a Real-world Evaluation

Start date: September 26, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The primary objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between changes from baseline to 52 weeks in Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) [% pred.] and changes from baseline to 52 weeks in dyspnea score [points] or cough score [points] as measured with the living with pulmonary fibrosis (L-PF) questionnaire over 52 weeks of nintedanib treatment in patients suffering from chronic fibrosing Interstitial lung disease (ILD) with a progressive phenotype (excluding idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)).

NCT ID: NCT05151471 Terminated - ALS Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety Extension Study of Oral Edaravone Administered in Subjects With ALS

Start date: January 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate and compare the efficacy of two dosing regimens of oral edaravone in subjects with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), based on the time from the randomization date in Study MT-1186-A02 to at least a 12-point decrease in Revised ALS Functional Rating Score (ALSFRS-R) or death, whichever happens first, over the course of the study or until oral edaravone is commercially available in that country

NCT ID: NCT05150288 Completed - Growth Clinical Trials

Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) Post-market Study on Infants (NEHMO)

NeHMO DACH
Start date: July 8, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) represent the third largest solid component of breast milk. Technology advancements made it possible to supplement infant formulas with HMOs (2'FL, LNnT). Two published RCTs have demonstrated that infant formulas supplemented with 2'FL or 2'FL+LNnT are safe, well-tolerated, support normal grow, and may support healthy GI function and confer immune benefits. The performance of HMOs-supplemented formulas assessed in a real-world setting is complementary to previously conducted RCTs conducted in highly controlled clinical settings. Main objectives will be to monitor the safety & tolerance of HMOs-supplemented formulas in larger and diverse infant populations; to assess the performance of HMOs-supplemented formulas in mixed-fed infants, a population that was not studied in previous RCTs but likely represents a relatively common feeding regimen. Finally, considering the potential health/immune benefits of HMOs, it is also important explore the incidences of illnesses (i.e., respiratory illnesses, GI illnesses, and fever) associated with consuming HMOs-supplemented formulas and compare with breastfed infants data.

NCT ID: NCT05150002 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Cervical Spinal Cord Stimulation in Patients With Cerebral Vasospasm After Subarachnoid Haemorrhage: VasoStim Study

Start date: June 30, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Cerebral vasospasm is characterized by a vasoconstriction of cerebral arteries causing a reduction of cerebral blood flow (CBF) and leading to ischemia and infarction of the brain parenchyma. Cerebral vasospasm is a serious complication of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) with high morbidity and overall mortality of 40-50%. Although the exact mechanisms of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) on the innervation of cerebral vessels are still unclear, several hypotheses have been formulated and studies in animals and human performed with very promising results. This is a proof of concept study to better understand the effect and mechanisms of cervical spinal cord stimulation on cerebral vasospasm after aneurysmal SAH in human.

NCT ID: NCT05149755 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Moderate Aortic Valve Stenosis
