NCT ID: NCT00053833 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

S0025 Irinotecan in Treating Patients With Refractory Ovarian Epithelial, Primary Peritoneal, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Start date: April 2003
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of irinotecan in treating patients who have refractory ovarian epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

NCT ID: NCT00051545 Terminated - Liver Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Seocalcitol Versus Placebo in the Adjuvant Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: November 1999
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the efficacy of Seocalcitol in prolonging time to relapse following intended curative resection or percutaneous ablative treatment, i.e. percutaneous ethanol injection(s), percutaneous acetic acid injection(s), percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy, or percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

NCT ID: NCT00051532 Terminated - Liver Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Seocalcitol Versus Placebo in Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: September 1999
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to determine whether seocalcitol is effective in the treatment of advanced primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma [HCC]).

NCT ID: NCT00049582 Terminated - Clinical trials for Recurrent Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Decitabine in Treating Patients With Myelodysplastic Syndromes or Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Start date: September 2002
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of decitabine in treating patients with myelodysplastic syndromes or acute myeloid leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.

NCT ID: NCT00048750 Terminated - Clinical trials for Invasive Fungal Infections

Comparative Study of Micafungin (FK463) Versus Placebo as Prophylactic Antifungal Therapy in the ICU

Start date: January 2003
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of intravenous micafungin versus placebo as prophylactic therapy for invasive fungal infections in patients in the intensive care unit considered to be at high risk.

NCT ID: NCT00046761 Terminated - Clinical trials for Cerebrovascular Accident

A Study to Evaluate the Effects of ONO-2506 Intravenous Infusion in Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke

Start date: November 2002
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to compare the efficacy of ONO-2506 versus placebo in neurological stroke outcome in patients with acute ischemic stroke.

NCT ID: NCT00045617 Terminated - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

S0122: Combination Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, and Vaccine Therapy in Limited-Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: January 2003
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Vaccines may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. Combining chemotherapy and radiation therapy with vaccine therapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining chemotherapy and radiation therapy with vaccine therapy in treating patients who have limited-stage small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT00042406 Terminated - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Trial With HuMax-CD4 in Participants With Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Failing Treatment With Methotrexate (MTX) and a TNF-alpha Blocker

Start date: March 4, 2002
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether HuMax-CD4 is effective in the treatment of active RA in participants who have failed treatment with MTX and at least one TNF-alpha blocking agent.

NCT ID: NCT00041288 Terminated - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Study Of Two Non-Myeloablative Stem Cell Transplant Strategies For Low-Grade Lymphoma And CLL

Start date: October 2001
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Peripheral stem cell transplantation may be able to replace immune cells that were destroyed by chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Sometimes the transplanted cells are rejected by the body's normal tissues. Cyclosporine, mycophenolate mofetil, methotrexate, and tacrolimus may prevent this from happening. PURPOSE: Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of fludarabine plus total-body irradiation with that of combination chemotherapy followed by donor peripheral stem cell transplantation in treating patients who have relapsed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

NCT ID: NCT00040404 Terminated - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

Safety and Efficacy Study of CEP-1347 in the Treatment of Parkinson's Disease

Start date: March 2002
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to establish safety for CEP-1347 and to determine an efficacious dose in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
