There are about 13446 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Belgium. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of tislelizumab in participants with relapsed/refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma, as measured by the overall response rate per the Lugano Classification, and as determined by the investigator.
The influence of postmenopausal hormone treatment on dementia is not clear. Dysfunctions in the metabolism of amyloid in the disease of Alzheimer result in an elevated presence of degradation products in cerebrospinal fluid. The degradation products in blood will be analysed during the trial, to get better insight in menopause and the start of hormonal therapy. Postmenopausal women with and without history of breast cancer will be recruited for the trial.
This study intends to assess the effect of nasal airway stent (Nasten®) as a treatment modality in patients with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) including snoring and/or obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Nastent®, a distally perforated soft silicon nasal tube, is a mechanical splint against collapse of the upper airway at multiple levels. Nastent® might be able to prevent the vibrations caused by fluttering of various parts of the upper airway which leads to snoring. Furthermore, it also potentially secures a patent airway throughout the night securing airflow.
Phase III, double-blind, randomised study assessing the efficacy of capivasertib + fulvestrant vs placebo + fulvestrant for the treatment of patients with locally advanced (inoperable) or metastatic HR+/HER2- breast cancer following recurrence or progression on or after AI therapy.
This is an entry-into-human study and will assess the effects of eciskafusp alfa (RO7284755) as a single agent and in combination with atezolizumab in adult participants with solid tumors considered responsive to checkpoint inhibition blockade. The maximum duration in the study for each participant will be up to 28 months.
A Phase 3 Study to Compare AMG 510 with Docetaxel in Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) subjects with KRAS p. G12c mutation
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of dapirolizumab pegol (DZP) as an add-on treatment to standard of care (SOC) medication to achieve clinically relevant long term improvement of moderate to severe disease activity.
A phase Ib, open-label platform study of select drug combinations chosen in order to characterize safety and tolerability of each treatment arm tested and to identify recommended doses and regimens for future studies.
A prospective, single-arm, multi-center first-in-human (FIH) study to evaluate the safety and performance of the Innoventric Trillium™ Stent Graft System. Twenty (20) patients in 8 investigational sites will be enrolled. All enrolled study patients will be assessed at baseline, during the procedure, at discharge, after 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 1.5 years, 2 years, and 3 years following the index procedure.
Rhinitis, or inflammation of the nasal mucosa, can present with nasal obstruction, nasal discharge, itch or sneezing. If the sinusal mucosa is involved as well, it is called rhinosinusitis and facial pain or loss of smell is possible. Several causes are known, such as an underlying allergy ("allergic rhinitis", AR). If at least 2 symptoms are present for at least 12 weeks, it is called "chronic rhinosinusitis" (CRS). Up to 2/3 of the AR and CRS patients have symptoms upon exposure to triggers such as sudden temperature changes, smoke, fragrances… a phenomenon called "nasal hyperreactivity" (NHR). It is currently not clear why some patients suffer NHR while others do not. In this study, the investigators want to identify the mediators associated with NHR in patients with allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis and healthy control subjects. To do so, participants will be provoked with cold, dry air in order to objectively diagnose NHR. Before and after provocation, the peak nasal inspiratory flow will be measured and samples will be collected (nasal secretions, biopsies).
