The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antidrug antibody (ADA) response for MEDI8897 in healthy preterm infants who are between 29 and 35 weeks gestational age (GA) and entering their first Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season.
The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the effects of an amino acid mixture (Amixea) on the body composition as assessed by DXA, and on QMVC as assessed by strain gauge, in advanced NSCLC patients, compared to placebo, after 10 weeks of treatment. Secondary objectives are to evaluate the activity of Amixea on the degree of protein synthesis, on the nutritional risk and status and quality of life in advanced NSCLC patients, compared to placebo, after 10 weeks of treatment. In a small subsample, body composition will be evaluated opportunistically from clinically available CT scans. Adherence to, and patient satisfaction of treatment will be evaluated as exploratory objectives of this study. Finally, the overall safety and product tolerability will be evaluated.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of S 44819 in enhancing functional recovery after an ischemic stroke.
The purpose of this multi-center event-driven study in non-dialysis (ND) participants with anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of daprodustat compared to darbepoetin alfa.

People who may be at increased risk of lung cancer due to age and smoking history will be invited to participate in this international study to determine the best way of using computed tomography (CT) of the chest to screen for early lung cancer. Overseas data show that CT screening (screening tests can find diseases early, when they're easier to treat) can reduce deaths from lung cancer and this study will help determine who is most likely benefit from screening.
