Evaluating the Efficacy of PAP Therapy for Treating OSA in the Home Environment

Start date: August 12, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will take between 4-6 months (with first patient first visit to last patient last visit expected to span 3-4 months across all study sites). Each participant will use the investigational PAP device with their own mask for a period of up to 7 nights and will complete a series of questionnaires upon completion. The study will evaluate the usability and efficacy of the investigational device in the intended use environment by the intended use population.

NCT ID: NCT04743765 Recruiting - Hip Fractures Clinical Trials

HIP Fracture Accelerated Surgical TreaTment And Care tracK 2 Trial

HIP ATTACK-2
Start date: November 22, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The HIP ATTACK-2 trial is a multicentre, international, parallel group randomized controlled trial to determine whether accelerated surgery for hip fracture in patients with acute myocardial injury is superior to standard care in reducing death at 90 days after randomization. The trial will also assess secondary outcomes at 90 days after randomization: inability to independently walk 3 metres, time to first mobilization (first standing and first full weight bear), composite and individual assessment of major complications (e.g., mortality, non-fatal myocardial infarction, acute congestive heart failure, and stroke), delirium, length of stay, pain, and quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT04743635 Completed - Cellulite Clinical Trials

CONtrolled Focal Fibrous Band Release Method Study

Start date: January 7, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Avéli medical device to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

NCT ID: NCT04742842 Completed - SARS-CoV2 COVID-19 Clinical Trials

The Safety and Immunogenicity of a DNA-based Vaccine (COVIGEN) in Healthy Volunteers

COVALIA
Start date: June 21, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

In this trial, we are evaluating the safety and tolerability of a new investigational DNA vaccine to protect against SARS CoV-2 virus, called COVIGEN, that is developed by a company called BioNet-Asia. A device will be used to inject the vaccine that does not require the use of a needle (needle-free injection made by a company called Pharmajet). For delivery into the skin (intradermally) a device called "Tropis" will be used, and for delivery into the muscle (intramuscularly) a device called "Stratis" will be used. This is a 2 part study In Part A vaccine naive participants will be given 2 vaccinations, either two active vaccines or two placebo vaccines on Day 1 and Day 29. COVIGEN C19 vaccine will be used in Part A In Part B participants who have previously received a 2-dose primary COVID vaccine schedule will be given a booster dose of active vaccine. COVIGEN C20 vaccine will be used in Part B. Participants in part A and B will be followed up using a combination of on-site and telephone visits for assessment of safety and immunogenicity for 12 months from 1st vaccination.

NCT ID: NCT04741854 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)

Development of Advanced Leak Detection Technologies for Positive Airway Pressure Devices Therapies

Start date: August 26, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will take between 1-2 months (with first patient first visit to last patient last visit). Each participant will use the supplied PAP device and mask for a period of up to 14 nights. Participants will complete a series of questionnaires. The study will collect data to support the development of an advance leak detection technology.

COMINO
Start date: March 2, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase III, multicenter, randomized, double-masked, active comparator-controlled, parallel-group study evaluating the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of faricimab administered by intravitreal (IVT) injection at 4-week intervals until Week 24, followed by a double-masked period of study without active control to evaluate faricimab administered according to a personalized treatment interval (PTI) dosing regimen in patients with macular edema due to central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) or hemiretinal vein occlusion (HRVO).
