O2matic HOT is a further development of O2matic and is intended for home oxygen use with patients in need of long-term oxygen treatment (LTOT). O2matic HOT is a closed-loop system which on basis of signals from pulse oximetry titrates the oxygen flow to the patient. In this crossover trial patients are admitted for 24 hours twice. Once with usual fixed dose oxygen and once with oxygen titration by O2matic HOT.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) therapy in the treatment of depression and anxiety symptoms in patients undergoing the pulmonary rehabilitation. The first study group will receive VR therapy (VR group) as an addition to the traditional pulmonary rehabilitation. The second group (active control group) will receive Schultz Autogenic Training as a standard supplement to the pulmonary treatment. The third group (control group) will undergo only the traditional pulmonary rehabilitation.

Brief Summary: The purpose of this study is to to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Cavosonstat administered twice daily compared with Placebo for 24 Weeks in adult subjects with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Detailed Description:To investigate the effect of cavosonstat compared with placebo, on the annualized rate of moderate-to-severe acute exacerbations of COPD (AECOPD) over 24 weeks of treatment. To investigate: 1. The effect of cavosonstat compared with placebo, on the duration from baseline to first moderate AECOPD event 2. The effect of cavosonstat compared with placebo, on respiratory function, as assessed by post-bronchodilator percent-predicted forced expiratory volume in one second (ppFEV1) 3. The effect of cavosonstat compared with placebo on annualized rate of moderate AECOPD over 24 weeks of treatment 4. Impact of Chair Seat Height on the 1-Minute Sit to Stand Test Performance in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

The 1-minute sit to stand (1-min STS) test is a standardized test which is used to examine exercise capacity in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The chair seat height used is standardized to 46-48 cm. Using a standard seat height for all patients - irrespective of their body height - may lead to invalid estimates of functional exercise capacity. The objective of this study is to assess whether there is a difference in repetitions during the 1-min STS test if the seat height is adjusted to 90° knee joint angle or the standard height chair of 46 cm is used.
