A Study of Recombinant Vaccinia Virus in Combination With Cemiplimab for Renal Cell Carcinoma

This is a Phase 1b/2a, open-label, multi-center, dose-escalation and safety/efficacy evaluation trial of Pexa-Vec plus Cemiplimab in patients with metastatic or unresectable renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The trial consists of a dose-escalation stage, where the maximum feasible dose of Pexa-Vec in combination with Cemiplimab will be determined, followed by an expansion stage. During the expansion patients will receive Cemiplimab alone or in combination with Pexa-Vec, which will be administered either through intravenous (IV) or intratumoral (IT) injection.

Immunotherapy and SBRT for Metastatic Head and Neck Carcinomas

Immunotherapy targeting the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway had previously been shown to be efficacious in the treatment of patients with metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) to metastatic lesions causes localized cancer cell killing and the release of cancer cell debris, which could stimulate the immune system in the presence of immunotherapy. The purpose of this study is to assess the tolerability and efficacy of combining Durvalumab (MEDI4736), Tremelimumab and SBRT in controlling cancer progression. SBRT will be administered to patients while they are receiving Durvalumab and Tremelimumab.

Nivolumab + Chemoradiation in Stage II-IVB Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC)

This phase II trial studies how well nivolumab and chemoradiotherapy works in treating patients with stage II-IVB nasopharyngeal cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may block tumor growth in different ways by targeting certain cells. Chemoradiotherapy is the combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy and may prevent the cancer from spreading when combined with nivolumab. Giving nivolumab and chemoradiotherapy may work better in treating patients with stage II-IVB nasopharyngeal cancer.
