NCT ID: NCT03471897 Completed - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Plasma Glycosaminoglycans as Diagnostic and Prognostic Biomarkers in Surgically Treated Renal Cell Carcinoma

Start date: April 28, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, the investigators profiled plasma glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in a retrospective consecutive series of patients with a radiographic finding of renal mass referred to primary surgery for renal cell carcinoma (RCC). A control group was formed by measuring plasma GAGs in healthy volunteers. The primary endpoints were the specificity and sensitivity of plasma GAGs in the detection of early stage RCC in pre-surgical samples versus healthy individuals. The investigators further analyzed how plasma GAGs varied according to stage, grade, RCC histology, other renal masses, and after surgery. Finally, the investigators estimated whether plasma GAGs could be used for prediction and surveillance of RCC recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT03469596 Completed - Anal Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Evaluation by MRI of Anal Canal Cell Carcinoma: is There Predictive Factor?

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Anal canal cell carcinoma is a very rare cancer but well treated. If the morphological test are well established in the initial evaluation, it's not the case of the follow up evaluation particularly by MRI.About 1/3 of patient decline with metastatic relapse during the follow up of these patients. It appears that clinical regression seen precociously is a predictive factor of survival without relapse. But there 's no study confirming that point. This context takes us to evaluate if there is a predictive factor in MRI to final clinical result.

NCT ID: NCT03469557 Completed - Clinical trials for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Gastric Carcinoma, Gastroesophageal Junction Carcinoma

BGB A317 in Combination With Chemotherapy as First-Line Treatment in Adults With Inoperable, Locally Advanced or Metastatic Esophageal, Gastric, or Gastroesophageal Junction Carcinoma

Start date: July 18, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2, multi-cohort study to investigate safety, PK, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of the monoclonal antibody BGB A317 in combination with standard chemotherapy as first-line treatment. Cohorts include an ESCC cohort and a gastric carcinoma (GC) or GEJ carcinoma cohort that will be enrolled concurrently. The study includes a screening (up to 28 days), treatment (until disease progression, intolerable toxicity, or treatment withdrawal for another reason), safety follow-up (up to 30 days following last study drug treatment), and survival follow-up phase.

NCT ID: NCT03468985 Completed - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Non-Small Cell Cancer AJCC v7

Nivolumab, Cabozantinib S-Malate, and Ipilimumab in Treating Patients With Recurrent Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: May 7, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This partially randomized phase II trial studies how well nivolumab, cabozantinib s-malate, and ipilimumab work in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that has come back. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Cabozantinib s-malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving nivolumab, cabozantinib s-malate, and ipilimumab may work better than cabozantinib s-malate alone in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03464734 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma

Pembrolizumab and Nab Paclitaxel in Patients With Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma

Start date: January 16, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II, single-center study will assess the efficacy of pembrolizumab + nab-paclitaxel in patients who have metastatic urothelial tumor and do not respond to chemotherapy. The time between drug administration and progression of the disease will be assessed to determine if the drug will work.

NCT ID: NCT03463681 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

A Study of CaBozantinib in Patients With Advanced or Unresectable Renal cEll cArcinoma

BREAKPOINT
Start date: June 11, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label single arm, multicenter, phase II study designet To assess the progression free survival (PFS) of cabozantinib in patients pretreated with one immunocheckpoint inhibitor (CPI) in monotherapy or in combination

NCT ID: NCT03458117 Completed - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma

T-VEC in Non-melanoma Skin Cancer

20139157 T-VEC
Start date: April 19, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of the mechanism of Action of talimogene laherparepvec (T-VEC) in patients with locally advanced non-melanoma skin cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03456804 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Prostate Carcinoma

ESK981 in Treating Patients With Metastatic Castrate-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Start date: March 8, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trials studies the side effects and how well ESK981 works in treating patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer that has spread to other places in the body. ESK981 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT03452332 Completed - Clinical trials for Recurrent Cervical Carcinoma

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy, Tremelimumab and Durvalumab in Treating Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic Cervical, Vaginal, or Vulvar Cancers

Start date: July 18, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies how well stereotactic body radiation therapy works in combination with tremelimumab and durvalumab in treating participants with cervical, vaginal, or vulvar cancers that have come back (recurrent) or spread to other areas of the body (metastatic). Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a specialized radiation therapy that sends x-rays directly to the tumor using smaller doses over several days and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as tremelimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Durvalumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving stereotactic body radiation therapy, tremelimumab, and durvalumab may work better in treating participants with cervical, vaginal, or vulvar cancers.

NCT ID: NCT03448458 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Prostate Carcinoma

Gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE PET/CT in Diagnosing Patients With Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer

Start date: February 22, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies how well gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in treating patients with castration resistant prostate cancer that has spread to other placed in the body. Gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE PET/CT may help doctors to identify those patients with early neuroendocrine transdifferentiation and who are at greater risk for poor outcomes.
