NCT ID: NCT02315469 Completed - Clinical trials for Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma

Comprehensive Patient Questionnaires in Predicting Complications in Older Patients With Gynecologic Cancer Undergoing Surgery

Start date: February 10, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This research trial studies comprehensive patient questionnaires in predicting complications in older patients with gynecologic cancer undergoing surgery. Comprehensive patient questionnaires completed before surgery may help identify complications, such as the need for assistance in taking medications, decreased mobility, decreased social activity, and falls, and may improve outcomes for older patients with gynecologic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02315430 Completed - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Carcinoma

Cabozantinib-S-Malate in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Progressive Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Cancer

Start date: April 1, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well cabozantinib-s-malate works in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer that has come back or is growing, spreading, or getting worse. Cabozantinib-s-malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth and also by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT02314156 Completed - Clinical trials for Stage IB Breast Cancer

Transdermal or Oral Telapristone Acetate in Treating Patients Undergoing Mastectomy

Start date: October 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This randomized trial studies transdermal or oral telapristone acetate in treating patients undergoing surgery to remove the breast (mastectomy). Telapristone acetate may help prevent breast cancer from forming in premenopausal women. Giving telapristone acetate transdermally may be safer and have fewer side effects than oral administration.

NCT ID: NCT02312245 Completed - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Carcinoma

Avatar-Directed Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Ovarian, Primary Peritoneal, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Start date: July 21, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well Avatar-directed chemotherapy works in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that does not respond to platinum anti-cancer drugs. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, gemcitabine hydrochloride, pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride, topotecan hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Using an Avatar, a living tumor sample with similar genetic characteristics to the original tumor, may help determine which chemotherapy is most effective.

NCT ID: NCT02310503 Completed - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Spanish Registry of Mohs Surgery

REGESMOHS
Start date: July 1, 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

REGESMOHS (Registro Español de cirugía de Mohs) aims at describing effectiveness of Mohs surgery, and patient, tumor and technique factors related to adverse events and tumor recurrence. REGESMOHS is a prospective cohort, including all patients considered for Mohs surgery in participating centers. All consecutive patients are included. The only exclusion criteria are being under 18-years-old or legally incompetent. Pre-planned follow-up is as required by common clinical practice, but at least once a year for the study period.

NCT ID: NCT02302118 Completed - Clinical trials for Carcinomas of the Esophagogastric Junction

Esophagogastrectomy Versus Extended Gastrectomy in AEG II

AEG-II-EG
Start date: April 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Comparison of the oncological outcome of patients who underwent esophagogastrectomy versus extended gastrectomy due to carcinomas of the esophagogastric junction (Siewert type II)

NCT ID: NCT02300610 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Enzalutamide in Combination With Gemcitabine and Cisplatin in Bladder Cancer

Start date: February 11, 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to find out the dose of enzalutamide that can be safely given with gemcitabine and cisplatin in patients with advanced bladder cancer. Researchers also want to find out the side effects of these drugs when given together. This study will also help in finding out the effect on tumor of the combination of enzalutamide, gemcitabine and cisplatin.

NCT ID: NCT02297958 Completed - Ovarian Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Impact of Fas/FasL in Chemotherapy Response in Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma

IFFaLCCO
Start date: January 15, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Ovarian carcinoma has poor prognosis and new therapeutic strategies are required. Many patients with ovarian carcinoma showed resistance to chemotherapy. Cleaved FasL is known for induced atypical response when is binding to Fas such as avoiding apoptosis and inducing cell motility.

NCT ID: NCT02296970 Completed - Clinical trials for Basal Cell Carcinoma

An Observational Study to Determine the Clinical Cure Rate of Therapeutic up Front Shave Removal of Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Skin With Long Term Follow up to Evaluate Recurrence

Start date: December 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Determine the effectiveness of a deep shave removal as a definitive treatment for basal cell carcinoma (BCC) without the need for a follow up surgical procedure.

NCT ID: NCT02288910 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Blood Volume Assessment of Hepatocellular and Metastatic Carcinomas in the Liver

Start date: November 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This project investigates the feasibility of assessing the relative blood volume of carcinomas in patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) and liver metastases from pancreatic or colorectal cancer compared to normal liver from DynaCT acquisitions on an interventional platform.
