KVUS at Neoadjuvant CTx of Breast Cancer

Start date: December 12, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Effect of the contrast-enhanced diagnostic ultrasound during neoadjuvant chemotherapy of breast cancer on the achieved tumor size reduction and tolerability of chemotherapy

NCT ID: NCT03385031 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Prospective Validation of 3D Dose Metrics as Selection Criteria for Adaptive Radiotherapy in Breast Cancer Patients

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In a retrospective study the investigators defined quantitative action levels based on dose and volume measures for adaptive radiation therapy in breast cancer patients (Zegers et al. Acta Oncol 2017). The aim of this study is to validate these parameters in a prospective study.

NCT ID: NCT03384992 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Targeted eHealth Intervention to Reduce Fear of Recurrence Among Breast Cancer Survivors

FoRtitude
Start date: March 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The FoRtitude trial aims to evaluate an eHealth intervention designed to teach breast cancer survivors strategies to manage anxiety about cancer recurrence. The eHealth intervention includes educational content and interactive tools, designed to teach coping strategies and/or inert content, depending on the study participant's randomization assignment. The FoRtitude study will examine whether three coping strategies (relaxation training, cognitive restructuring, worry practice) are more effective than general health-related content in reducing fear of cancer recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT03384914 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Female

Vaccine to Prevent Recurrence in Patients With HER-2 Positive Breast Cancer

Start date: February 19, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of each study vaccine and to evaluate the effect on the time to disease recurrence (assessed by disease free survival). Participants will be assigned to receive one of two study vaccines (DC1 study vaccine vs. WOKVAC). The study vaccine will be administered in two phases: a study vaccination phase and a booster phase.

NCT ID: NCT03384095 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Breast Neoplasm Female

Trial of Oral Hyaluronic Acid for the Prevention of Aromatase Inhibitor-Associated Arthralgias

Start date: December 14, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single center, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, randomized Phase II trial to determine whether oral hyaluronic acid will prevent aromatase inhibitor (AI)-associated arthralgias. Subjects must have ER/PR-positive breast cancer tumor with history of aromatase inhibitor-associated musculoskeletal symptoms (AIMSS) which resolved after cessation of their AI (anastrazole or letrozole) within 90 days of enrollment. Subjects will be stratified by initial AI, thus within each initial AI, subjects will be randomized to receive either the experimental treatment (hyaluronic acid) or placebo. Subjects will begin the assigned treatment for 2 weeks prior to transitioning to the second AI. Evaluations will be taken at baseline, 6 weeks (1 month on study drug and AI), 14 weeks (3 months on study drug and AI), and at 26 weeks (6 months on study drug and AI). Treatment with hyaluronic acid and placebo will last for 26 weeks total.

NCT ID: NCT03383835 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of Moderate Dose Omega 3 Fatty Acid Supplement in Premenopausal Women at High Risk for Breast Cancer

Start date: February 5, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot study is an investigation of feasibility of moderate dose omega-3 fatty acid supplementation in pre-menopausal women at high risk for breast cancer who are considering future pregnancy. The goal of this pilot study is to determine feasibility of the study, document compliance with omega-3 fatty acid supplementation in this population and identify novel biomarkers modulated by moderate dose omega-3 fatty acids in this population.

NCT ID: NCT03383679 Completed - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Female

Study on Androgen Receptor and Triple Negative Breast Cancer

START
Start date: March 14, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter uncontrolled, open-label, prospective, non-comparative randomized, phase II study. Patients will be randomized between darolutamide in Arm n°1 (two-stage Simon's design) and capecitabine in Arm n°2 with two patients randomized in Arm n°1 for one patient randomized in Arm n°2. The trial population is composed of women over 18 years old with triple-negative and androgen receptor positive, locally recurrent (unresectable) or metastatic breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03381963 Completed - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Hemostatic Profiles of Endocrine Therapies for Breast Cancer

HEMOBREAST
Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this prospective cohort study is to evaluate the modifications of the biological hemostatic profile associated with the use of endocrine therapy in women with breast cancer (tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors).

NCT ID: NCT03381417 Completed - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Female

Nanogen Pegcyte Clinical Study for the Prevention of CIN in Breast-cancer Patients.

Start date: October 6, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Accelerated AC regimen-Doxorubicin 60 mg/m2,Cyclophosphamide 600 mg/m2 on day 1 & day 14 of each cycle along with G-CSF support for up to 4 cycles, followed by Paclitaxel 175 mg/m2 in the next 4 cycles is the standard clinical practice in Vietnam for breast cancer, this regimen is to facilitate the dose-dense schedule, patients receive every-2-week therapy along with G-CSF support. the accelerated dose-dense schedule improve disease-free and overall survival among women with breast cancer .Primary objective of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of Nanogen's Pegcyte and Roche's Neulastim for prevention of chemotherapy (Accelerated AC regimen)-induced neutropenia on breast cancer patients. Breast cancer patients scheduled to receive myelosuppressive chemotherapy (AC regimen) will be recruited in this trial. All eligible patients receive single subcutaneous injection of study drugs 24 hours after chemotherapy administration in each cycle for 3 consecutive cycles. Efficacy and safety assessments will be assessed based on the incidence of severe neutropenia in combination of temperature > 38.3℃ or sepsis or life threatening infection and incidence of serious adverse events.
